READERS' PICK: Some readers are still doing Strauss'
Morning Papers Waltz, judging from the
Arizona Daily Star's dance card, while the
Tucson Citizen remains a wallflower. According to most of our voters, though, the
Tucson Weekly is the belle of the ball. That's true even though--or mainly because--unlike the competition, it doesn't sneak out to the terrace to fellate developers and businessmen.
The Weekly may not be Miss Congeniality, but there's apparently something alluring about a paper so willing to slap the faces of politicians, bureaucrats and ecorapists who get too fresh.
