Also at 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd. (797-2652). Thunder Canyon Brewery’s new downtown location brings another local eatery and drinking establishment to the growing downtown dining scene. With four dozen or so beers on tap, a dozen of which are house-brewed, it has one of the better beer selections in Tucson. The menu is mostly standard pub fare, with lots of sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps. Highlights are the TCB dip, the brewhouse pretzels (get the TCB dip instead of the cheese dip) and the mac and cheese, which is chock-full of thick bacon and grilled chicken chunks. (05-30-13)
