Re: “Flake Takes a Turn To the Right

Meanwhile he has heightened security and private security guards at his Tucson office. He sees people one person at s time - escorted by guards and uses cars to block off parking.

Re: “Senae Thai Bistro

I had the Pad Thai and my husband had the Larb. Both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and service was great. Best Thai I've had while in Tucson. Highly recommend!

I listen to Rainer almost every day and have for 25+ years. Always as fresh as the 1st listen.

Re: “Flake Takes a Turn To the Right

It's Flake's choice to be just another faceless tool of the rich on the lockstepping GOP Death Panel. But he could become something of a heroic rogue merely by jumping ship on the health bill - you know, doing the humane thing for millions of Americans. People are suckers for Republicans who even rarely do the decent thing. There are still people who think McCain is a rebel. And all he had to do was some unexpectedly decent comment, or even more rarely -a decent vote - every few years.

Re: “A River Ran Through It

We need to make sure we get this natural source of water flowing through Tucson again! It was never anyone right to dam it the way they did or dry it. Now 2017 I'm sure we can restore it. We need to act fast. They Building more and more in the "Flood Areas" as an more valid excuse as to why they cant restore it. People in power know people are going to start fighting for these types of things now! A guy in California is sueing now and he states that the river is mostly dry due to general electric company taking control of most of the rivers up NW that ran down to the SW i thought that was the main reason why it had dried. Please any info on how we can start something to regain this river would be nice

Re: “Koch Bros. and ALEC Shout From the Rooftops: "Stop Rooftop Solar!"

The problem is that the solar power is all released when the utilities do not need it. The power should be stored on batteries and released during Peak Demand periods.

Re: “Flake Takes a Turn To the Right

The 'right turn' is nothing new. All year long Flake's messages have been reminding people of his extremely high ratings from such radical right organizations as the NRA. How's this make you think of him?

Sen. Flake's lifetime scores with some of the country's leading government watchdog organizations:

National Taxpayers' Union A
National Right to Life 99%
Americans for Prosperity 98%
Club for Growth 97%
Citizens vs Government Waste 97%
FreedomWorks 95%
American Conservative Union 94%

Re: “There's Election Integrity, and Then There's Election Integrity

The founding fathers were a lot smarter than either of us. We are a republic for a reason. Their distrust of an all powerful federal government made sense then and today. Donald Trump can't understand that because he obviously has not read or understood the Constitution and is convinced he is the smartest guy on Earth.

He is not even in the right hand side of the bell curve measuring intelligence. He is somewhere in the shallows on the left side. I will stay with our founders and the Constitution. Thank you.

Re: “There's Election Integrity, and Then There's Election Integrity

Why am I opposed to amassing all voter information in one database secured by the US government? Because that same government has had a dismal track record of maintaining the integrity of the massive databases it has responsibility for protecting. Because the Trump administration is incompetent and focused on revenge and retaliation. Because I would not trust an administration headed by Hillary Clinton any more than I would the current administration. Because the Republicans seek to deny voting rights to their perceived enemies while Democrats have used the IRS against their perceived enemies. Because I believe our electoral process is resides with the states not the federal government. We are a republic, remember, and the founders were a hell of a lot smarter than me, or you.

Re: “There's Election Integrity, and Then There's Election Integrity

Arizona already sells access to its voter registration database for $500, which includes party preference, although not the last four digits of one's SSN. Withholding SSNs from the U.S. federal government, the entity that issues them, seems odd. And why would you be opposed to secure storage of the information?

The liberal resistance to Kobach's project seems very fishy. You people insist, without evidence, that non-citizen voting doesn't happen, yet you all support obstructing an investigation that would prove or disprove that claim.

It's almost as if something's being hidden, intentionally.
