Re: “Think of the Children

204, absolutely not. Child-rearing is not the government's job.
Props 202 and 203 are so mind-bogglingly complex that there is no way I'll vote for either one. I like the zoo, but there has to be a better way to fund it than a sales tax, especially when basic services like schools and roads are in such bad shape.

Re: “Board of Supes Set To Discuss Christy Proposal for Countywide Sales Tax for Roads

Seattle increased minimum wage to $15 and businesses moved away, taking much needed revenue from them. So now they raise taxes on everybody to help pay for their little socialist experiment. Once again, expect it to fail.

Then we can all get excited about copying it here. Right lefties?

Re: “Ousting Opioids

Until the policing and punishment is focused on the suit-wearing drug dealers of Big Pharma and the politicians and pusher MDs in their pockets, the opioid epidemic will continue.

Re: “Board of Supes Set To Discuss Christy Proposal for Countywide Sales Tax for Roads

Lets watch Seattle and see how it does with the income tax they passed last election.

Then truly those that benefit and use the roads that maintain the infrastructure and reap the most can bear the cost.

Re: “The Skinny

McSally is nothing more than a Repubtard Trumpuppet who would support an ax wielding psychotic killer as long as that cretin kept the Repubicunt dogma to suppress the poor, Black, and brown voters, eleminate or cripple universal health care, and eventually push Social Security to control by the states where it could be dismantled leaving the elderly penniless, starving, and broken in their supposed "Golden Years". If McSally and the Republicans maintain control of every part of the government I demand that they pass a bill for assisted suicide so that we, who have hearts and souls and want to see our fellow man succeed , have an option not to continue in this farcical government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Re: “The Skinny

McSally a "moderate Republican?" That's a joke. She's voted in lock step with POTUS-T 93% of the time. Her prior stand on health care & now on Trump's tax plan prove she's no moderate.

Re: “Koch Brothers Infiltrate Pima County Schools With a High School Econ Course

The words of a student who underwent this subversive right wing indoctrination.

[He] understands that, ultimately, successful businesses in a free economy are virtuous at their coremeeting people's needs and doing so through ethical and mutually beneficial practices. In the end, [he] says, businesses that lack either virtuous purpose or ethical practices won'tand shouldn'tsucceed."
