Re: “Have a Knife Day

Always look forward to hearing about local restaurants to indulge in. Gov is shut down, some folks are making cuts to get by. Insensitive time and place to promote luxury cutlery. Please stick to food.

Re: “Bites Without Borders

Nice to see a review for a local spot that doesn't only cater to the gym crowd. Indulge Tucson. Life is short.Eat like you mean it.

Re: “Bites Without Borders

The green chili Carnitas (Pork) is my favorite topping for the SUPER nachos. The flavor and concept is to die for. The portion is a bonus !

Re: “Bites Without Borders

I worry about a restaurant review that focuses on the size of the portions instead of the taste of the food.

Sofrito Portuguese? What are you smoking? (And *its* not a stew either.)

Wild Garlic made it work so I hope he can too. Its actually a pretty good location once it catches on.

Re: “One Hot Dog

I lived in Tucson for 32 years, and was blessed enough to visit El Guero Canelo many times. I have since moved to Gillette, Wyoming and been here 11 years. I wish Mr. Daniel Contreras would consider opening a El Guero Canelo here in Gillette, it would be a monumental business decision. We need this here. Gracias.

Re: “Seven Decades of Service

it was an interesting comment about El Dorado and Crossroads because they both still seem to be doing business.

Re: “Quick Bites

Hello. My husband I are in town, visiting from Philadelphia, and looking for a community/communal table place to share Thanksgiving dinner with others. If you or readers know of such a place in Tuscon, please email me @ pjthomas807@gmail.com. Happy Thanksgiving.

Re: “Pocket Fusion

Great review, Mark! One correction for Jackie, injera bread is made with teff flour, not lentils, as far as I know.

Re: “Growth Experience

Being somewhat new in Tucson from New York City I was pleasantly surprised that I could find Resterants that where very similar in style and flavor. When I heard it was a home town boy it was a chance to check them out. I have been to several locations and and need to get to many more. Really would like a downtown location just saying.

Re: “Gimme Mo!

This is much more Mid-Western BBQ than Southern style BBQ (both of which are very different). They have fantastic RIBS and the tri-tip is to die for. Also, don't skip the calabacitas tacos!
