Re: “Fun and Games and More

What a clever curator, to have found Sam and Poe in Bisbee! And then to bring them to Tucson! I'm entranced by their work and I've visited the exhibit three times already. I'm planning to bring some friends to share it with.

Re: “Requiem for Rolf

Rolfs death has turned sweet 16. I cried over his absense tonight for the first time since I cried laat, 16 years ago. I didnt understand myself over the years, meaning why I felt so cold and absent of care of who we were to each other, but for whatever reason, Rolf resurected for me tonight, whole, im glad this piece exists on line. Your portait of him, is intensely accurate. Prayer cireworks up forever.

Re: “Bisbee Deportation

The name of my art project is "The Undesirables" not The Deplorables. The title is critically important.

Thanks for the great coverage! We have worked long and hard on all these events and hope to share what we have done with Tucson and the rest of the free world in Baja Arizona.

Re: “God On Our Side

Had no idea that Neil Simon wrote a play based on the book of Job. Knowing Simon's body of work, it sounds like it should be an underrated gem.

Re: “Headline Ripping

This was a concise, probing and analytical theater review. Thanks.

Now if only you could replace that grim movie critic at the Weekly.

Re: “Vanishing Waters

US drought levels fall to lowest point in years

Just 5 percent of the United States is experiencing drought conditions, the lowest level of drought here since government scientific agencies began updating the U.S. Drought Monitor on a weekly basis in 2000.

Record rain and snowfall over the winter on the West Coast and heavy spring rains in the Midwest have alleviated some of the worst and longest-lasting drought conditions ever recorded.

Thank you Margret for reminding us that Art is one of our most potent agencies in sparking the imagination in resistance to systematic dissolve and that Art which is reserved for escapistt purpose and profit always comes up short in feeding those most in need . Hi there, I thought Jose Antonio was murdered on October 10th, not on the 8th?

Re: “Justice Denied

Yet there are so-called "real Americans" alive today that would gladly see the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of Islamic-Americans limited, curtailed or eliminated because of the same racially-motivated fears based on ignorance and misdirected national patriotism.

I spent more than 20 years defending the United States from "all enemies, foreign and domestic", but more than that it was about upholding values and recognizing the reality that there are evil people in the world who would use any means necessary to secure and maintain power over others -- even if it meant harnessing the most base emotions, cloaking them in the American flag, and using them to destroy the America that I know and love from within.

Re: “Justice Denied

I wish I could call FDR one of our greatest presidents for the good he did do, but nothing makes up for his legacy of this crime in our history.
