Re: “Ask a Mexican!

We think low cost Mexican food... funny, my sister thought it would be a great way to add a twist to this years Christmas tradition, making home made red chili tamales. First she was floored how EXPENSIVE it was to make the basic tamales that made 6 1/2 dozens of tamales at $78.00 in ingredients. Ok, had we purchased them already made at $12.00 a dozen it would have been cheaper if you do the math. To say we are spoiled by taco bell with the cheap dollar menus is an understatement. Then again you get what you pay for. No one ever said Mexican food was supposed to be cheap. But I agree that Taco bell has given the illusion that Mexican's live cheaper due to their food cost if you use the Taco bell method of cost. After that hard work and cost of making home made tamales, I just wanted to frame them. Interesting Article.

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

Ask the Yaqui refugees that have been living in Tucson for the last 50+ years how Mexico treats their indigenous peoples! Mexico has 4 class systems, the upper class, the growing middle class, the shrinking lower class and the indigenous peoples who have not been afforded the same opportunities as anyone else. In fact the Mexican governments persecution of the Yaqui people continues to this day, just a few hours south of the border. This national geographic piece touches on it and has some great pictures of where the Yaqui come from.

I concur with the Mexican Of course los hombres think they have a chance at chinga-chinga.

They look at her and probably say to themselves, "She should be grateful!"

"This skank is so fea that she gets no action at all!"

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

"... I'm a white, college-educated, liberal, Democrat, socialist ..." No such thing as a Democrat socialist ..." Socialism, by nature is government takeover of personal choice. You may be a member of the Democratic Party (aka proto-communist party, PCP), but you'd not be a freedom loving democrat.
Should go back school and get some sort of a valid education, rather than the brainwashed "toe the line" indoctrination you seem to have gotten, (get your money back, it didn't work).

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

Republican politicians want a wall because it makes it look like they're doing something while not actually shutting off the flood of cheap labor for their backers.
E-verify nationwide and you're done. No wall needed. You won't see any major Republican proposing that.

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

Dude don't forget where you are?
America bought this land, so stop fucking crying and go reform the MEXICAN GOVERNMENT! Hey there's an idea right? Mexican's helping Mexicans!!!! If you don't like it here, please by all means..... LEAVE!
Mexico doesn't have a wall keeping Americans out, instead it's the other way around. Stop trying to make America something even close to Mexico. Why do you think people want out of that country to come to this one?... Drug War? .... Police? ... Poverty?
Yes, yes, and yes! All things America would keep away if you all would stop turning Arizona a new even more pathetic Mexico

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

@White Bean. In the mid 19th century had a mexican walked up the king's road alone, he would have been dead (courtesy of the natives). Had a white man walked down that same road he would also have been dead, (courtesy of the mexicans). In west texas wasn't until the white's got the natives drunk and killed them in their stupor, (a trick the Mexicans did many times to great success), did this change somewhat.
Point is: To claim a territory and to control a territory are two different things (.i.e. Gadsden Territory).

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

This column assumes Mexicans vote as a bloc and that they all support the democrats. That is a silly racist lie. I have noticed that around one third of my Mexican friends support Trump. I assume the population breaks down around 40 percent supporting the GOP. No matter what the break down is, not every Mexican is an advocate for open borders.

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

This hombre's parents would complain about the price of a blanket if it was just $16. This way of thinking isn't exclusive to Mexicans.

I think if you smeared a burrito in Mr. trump's face you would have a very long pistol up your anal cavity very quickly. Yah.

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

You know, it appears to be your life's mission to build up Mexicans and tear down Americans.
Just one question: If Mexicans are so great why are they constantly flooding across the border
to be with us dummies? Why don't they stay home and make their country great? (Oh, oh, that's 2 questions)

"Emelio," if that's a real question you should write it to him c/o the Orange County Register, his home paper. He'll never see it here.

Re: “Ask a Mexican

Mexican, this article was run in the Houston Post November of 2008. That's 7 years ago.

They ran Dear Abby reprints for 30 years after her death. How do we know that you really exist and aren't just come honky cracka' sitting at a desk in Chicago?

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

Two home-runs for The Mexican:

Over the years I've witnessed the phenomena of large numbers of hispanic families, including fathers, enjoying early evening and weekend time in Tucson's many regional parks, playing with the kids, setting food out on the tables, laughing. having fun, firing up the barbeque pits.

And menudo? My mom first turned me on to that stuff down in Ensenada when I was ten. Fantastic! I even like the stuff that comes out of cans! There should be a survey by some sort of local foodie regarding all the menudo joints around Tucson.

Wow! Warden likes Mexican barbeques AND Menudo! And YOU thought he just burned Mexican Flags!

Re: “Ask a Mexican!

The "Know Nothings" see the truth buddy. We live here, we aren't watching FOX news and spewing opinions from New Hampshire, and we are done.

We are also coordinating, making new friends and telling it like it is.

Recognize that Trump is number one in the polls based on deporting illegals alone.
