Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Friends In MAGA Places

Bruce, "So much corruption on both sides". Funny, every time I look it's just one side getting arrested, for money laundering, for election fraud, for tax fraud, passing foreign money into US elections, bribery, misappropriating tax money, pedophilia (I have a list of 50 republicans from just a few short years), sexual assault you say? I have a list of several hundred republicans from a few short years. That "Both sides do it" from the right wing Is just not cutting as an excuse anymore when it's 90+% one side. I also have a list of 150 accomplishments of liberals that have benifited the lower and middle class, have never seen one of 5 for conservatives. Go ahead, answer that.

captain arizona, back then we had one common enemy, though - I'm including Japan and Italy. Now? Guess who the nazi-wannabe lives. And his supporters.

so much finger pointing and so much corruption on both sides of the debate. Time to clean out the swamp and start over with[very very hard to find] honest folks for a change.

CW13:

Yes, you are deranged. That's what tRump Derangement Syndrome truly is. It affects those that believe tRump is worth a shit. It involves those that are presented with provable facts and choose to ignore them because they don't want to admit that they know they're wrong. Congratulations dude, you possess true TDS. Jimi lover or not.

Sorry that it came to this. I never even mentioned you. But hey, if the derangement fits, wear it and wear it proud.

Tom:
I enjoyed your (& many folks) fantasy about political compromise/cooperation...a similar, follow-up commentary from a hardline Republican would be enlightening, i.e. I can't imagine what their suggested compromises would be. Thanks!

Chump 2020:

As usual, you're wrong and delusional. At least you're consistent.

Your trumplethinskin will be facing issues that will prevent him from doing anything "presidential" in 2020. Whether those issues will be legal, health related or something regarding his treasonous behaviour remains to be seen; it will be interesting to see what unfolds when the criminal in chief finally gets what he deserves.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that we can agree even on "basic facts."

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: The First Crime Family Condemns Crime Families

Every time a Republican gets caught red-handed stomping on the Constitution or demeaning Democracy which seems to be just about every day lately, They will invariably dredge up some archaic bullshit about a Democrat and try to embellish it with their lies , innuendos, and fiction to deflect attention from their own heinous behavior. Republicans are such despicable assholes.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: The First Crime Family Condemns Crime Families

The Clinton's have been investigated ad nauseum for the last 25+ years by republicans, the FBI, special investigators. To date, no crimes found other than Bill stating that he didn't consider a BJ to be 'having sex'. He accepted the offer of that BJ, 58 months after the investigation started BTW.

I am not invested in Joe Biden and not concerned about him or his family. The president extorted information from the Ukraine about an opponent. Extortion is a crime. He has probably asked for similar information on all of his opponents.

Hmmmm. Notice how the captain remains pictureless and anonymous. It's easy to be snarky in the dark. Ok, I know, I know. I haven't figured out how to put up my picture.

Forget your meds again Cap? It's true, just like Hillary, investigation after investigation shows no crimes.

Re: “The Star Gets It Right About Pima County Standardized Test Scores

Debbie T, could children in various areas of Tucson take a bus directly to a school in the Foothills or another neighboring district? I doubt it could be done easily. It's really dependent on parents having the desire, the transportation and the time to ferry their kids to another district. All those, and the knowledge that children can go to out of district schools (not everyone knows that), favor parents with a high level of education and a good income.

Don Betson, you might consider giving my post another read-through. What you way in your second paragraph is the point I made in the post. We agree.

I take it not all of your readers were fans of the Obama's, Clinton's and Biden's. Yet Trump likes taking credit for the economy that was left for him to ruin. The only thing he really knows about is grabbing! His own words.

There's no EVIDENCE of any criminal misdeeds by Biden or his son.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Chinese Dribbling

All Steve Kerr did was say that he had no comment. He's trying to stay out of it, which is probably best.

Now, dumb donald on the other hand, believes this to be an invitation from Kerr to cyberbully him. It's all dumb donald ever has.

The flotus really needs to enforce that be best bs on her husband. It makes her look like a hypocrite when she doesn't scold him for the constant belittling of those who set the little trumplethinskin off.

Hypocrisy in the current White House? Say it isn't so.

Re: “The Star Gets It Right About Pima County Standardized Test Scores

Due to parental work obligations and lack of transportation, children in less wealthy circumstances are probably less able to attend out-of-district schools. Thus, Julie Farbarik's number regarding Catalina Foothills students from other districts indicates it most likely draws students from upper socio-economic households, reinforcing the socio-economic to student performance tie.
