Guido, what exactly can you tell us about Gary Watson's voting record?

Re: “The Skinny

Gary Watson seems like a good guy but his voting record is a concern. Being causal about your responsibilities as a citizen is a big part of the problem in this country and ought to disqualify you from consideration for leadership.

As I have said a thousand times, run the best candidate and your candidate can win. Anyone remember Lew Murphy?

As a child I spent countless vacations and weekends with Michael Hard and family in Rocky Point, Flagstaff, Tucson and Phoenix. Michael Hard is a funny, smart and incredibly caring man. His accomplishments in life are abundant, including his terrific family. However, his biggest feat may have been excusing and reversing my innumerable overdraft charges at the Valley Bank while I was an undergrad at the U of A. :)

Indeed, you are very lucky to be a part of the Hard family and to have him as your father in law.

Re: “The Skinny

What a joy it was to grow up with Mike as my older brother! While Mike and brother Fred were close in age, I came along later in '43 and was nurtured and stood up for by my hero, Mike, who played baseball with me by rounding the bases on his knees to "make it fair". I watched him play football at Pomfret and tried valiently but unsuccessfully to live up the school legend that was Mike Hard.
We both owe the entirety of our life credo to our father Fred Hard, Sr.. As upstanding and hard-working a man ever was, Dad was a legend in the sailing world as much as the most respected of Wall St. traders. His nickname among fellow Exchange members and friends was "Honest".
Nary a day goes by that I don't find myself asking him subconsciously if I'm using the right tool, making the right business decision, tying the right knot, or cobbling together a mechanical device.
His sense of humor was unique, to say the least; one day while heading home in a fog from Fire Island he remarked, "Oh..I know where we are now...I recognize that wave".
Happy Father's Day, "Honest"

I remember Mike Hard from my years working at VNB! As my sister, Maryann Adams, and I have said: Mike is an all around good guy! He was fair, kind and always shared his work ethics of being the best person you can be. I'm proud to have worked with him.

Happy Father's Day
