Re: “Danehy

He also donated his time to my wife's grade school class, reading to her pupils every week when he came down from Flagstaff to his place here in Tucson.

He will be missed...

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: The Chosen One

"Shovel ready Joe"

Regardless of the poison they pick, more democrats will stay home in 2020 than did in 2016.

The country is actually doing quite well once you weed through all the whiners and sore losers.

Jobs are plentiful and wages are up.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Meanwhile, On Obama Avenue

Andrew Yang was the other hump I was referring to.
I'll still put my money on Trump.

Re: “Danehy

Great tribute Tom. Was George his brother? George was a neighbor of ours for years.
Sam sounds a lot like the Rauh brothers, Bob and Bill and Dean Metz.

AZ has had some great life mentors.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Meanwhile, On Obama Avenue

Americans will be singing a different tune when China comes to the table and the economic flood gates open up. For 30 years President's have promised to do this but never did. Finally someone has come along that will not only threaten sanctions and stare them down he has taken action.

There is not a Dem candidate that has an economic plan, other than stealing from the successful and buying votes by giving it to others. That is a plan for failure.

Re: “New Kids on the Block

It was shocking, surprising and fricken hilarious. Having a teen once, i get it. They also made my teen look like a saint. It was out of this world craziness. But to escape and laugh... Just leave the kids at home! No excuses! You'll regret bringing them!

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Meanwhile, On Obama Avenue

CW13, agree with you about Biden, Yang & Williamson. Biden is delusional if he believes Republicans will work with him, seems he's blocked out the Clinton & Obama presidencies. His idea of bipartisanship is handing his lunch money to Moscow Mitch and bragging like it's a good thing. Yang will never make it out of the primary; and Williamson? She forgot the rule of not getting high on her own supply. Guessing the "hump" is Delaney who would feel more at home in the Republican party. After getting destroyed in the last debate he went crying to Fox News which I'm sure will really endear him to the Democratic Party. Don't sell the rest of the field short though. There are plenty of strong Democratic candidates all of whom are perfectly capable of beating Trump. And the fate of the nation and our precious Democracy depends on his being overwhelmingly stomped along with Moscow Mitch and the rest of the Republican Senators.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Meanwhile, On Obama Avenue

Biden came out today and let on that he had no idea when M.L.K. was shot. His wife said we should vote for him warts and all because he can beat Trump. (Which he can't.) How's that for a ringing endorsement? This other hump wants to give everybody one thousand dollars. Then there's the stooge thinks it's too late to beat climate change so we all need to move to higher ground. Let's not forget the dizzy author who wants to start a love department.
I think I'll put my money on Trump.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Meanwhile, On Obama Avenue

Hatred knows no limits. Prepare to lose another Presidential Election.

Democrats have two choices.
1. Run Joe Biden and lose the 50% radical socialists in their party.
2. Run a radical socialist and lose the brain dead Biden supporters.

Either way it's Trump again. Hatred will not beat him. Which is probably a good thing when the public rejects your ideas....stop and ask yourself if your ideas ARE the problem.

Better yet, keep doing what you're doing.

Re: “High There!

I hope that there will be some education/knowledge available for those of us new to Medical Marijuana and trying to segue from anti-inflammatories and such to some dose of THC/CBD. Having to experiment (I was really cool one week) to make this happen is not great for a chronic condition.

No offence taken. It's good that we can agree on and be cordial regarding certain things.

Take care. DC

Re: “Photo Opportunity

This is a wonderful article with great photos. However, I must point out an incorrectly identified photo. On page 12 the lower photo is identified as "Joe Cocker was getting by with a little help from his friends". The photo is actually of Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson, lead guitarist of LA based blues band Canned Heat. Wilson is seen here onstage at Woodstock playing his iconic 1954 Goldtop Les Paul (with the STP sticker placed between a pair of single-coil pickups he installed to achieve his signature sound). During his short life Wilson influenced many blues guitarists and in my opinion earned his place among the best musicians of the era. He died at age 27 just two weeks before Jimi Hendrix died and four weeks before Janis Joplin died. Rest In Peace Al Wilson, although you're no longer with us, your music remains for us to boogie on!

Re: “A [Fill in the Blank] as the Democratic Presidential Candidate? I Guess Democrats Just Want to Lose.

If that is true we deserve to be reimbursed.

The nearly two-year special counsel investigation of Russian election interference led by Robert Mueller cost nearly $32 million in total, a new filing shows.

Who came up with this hairbrained idea?

You secured the convictions of President Trumps campaign chairman, his deputy campaign manager, his national security advisor, and his personal lawyer, among others, Nadler said at the start of Muellers historic testimony before the House Judiciary Committee last week.

So OUR Congress makes up lies to charge others with crimes? This will not end well.
