Re: “Danehy

we used to have a sense of humor and could laugh at ourselves and those different from us. multicultural comedians are hilarious at pointing out the differences in culture. Not racist. It's a funny look of how groups with different backgrounds deal with stuff. Good enough for Pryor & Murphy, what's the big deal?

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Quid Pro Uh-Oh

Our Congress has sold us out for pieces of silver. Downsizing government and reducing authority is the only way forward.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Trump's Turkey Letter

Some of my family members have fought in this endless war. If you swamp politicians want more of it , instead of sending your son's, and daughters, grand children, nephews, to college, enlist them in the Marines, or the Army, and let the games continue. And if some of your sibling actually enlist, your can bet your bottom dollar, they'll be stationed so far back enemy lines, they'll have to move them forward to see a U.S.O. show.

Bingo.

Lying Tom definitely has a problem with African Americans and African American culture. Also, if an African American steps off his Old White Guy Political Plantation Tom is quick to Uncle Tom them.

But when his daughter, coming back from a Latin American country that has a history of illegal drug importation into the U.S., gets pulled into secondary screening, just as thousands of other U.S. citizens are daily, then the whole world is racist and it is President Trump's fault.

Re: “Tucson Salvage

I used to see Arthur on Golf Links and Prudence, standing on the sidewalk, watching the traffic or just staring into space. I thought he might be an African refugee, because he seemed to be a stranger in a strange land. I wondered what happened to him. Thank you for solving part of the mystery.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Quid Pro Uh-Oh

It is ironic -- and sad -- that media people and democrats continue to go to the one person whose arrogance, hubris and blind ambition have done as much damage to the state of American politics and the nation as the current occupant of the Oval Office.

It would have been better for all if she had remained lost in the woods and taken up residence in a she shed version of a Ted Kaczynski cabin.

As for listening to someone making not-so-veiled accusations against a woman who has honorably served this country in uniform -- as opposed to riding her husband's coat tail to power and ignoring that same husband's frequently dropped trousers -- I have neither the time nor inclination.

Re: “No Laughing Matter

I like the points you make SuperLead. To tell you the truth, I battled a bit on whether or not I liked this movie (Usually, if I'm battling hard, it means I didn't like it in the end). There were some interesting attempts at being a deeper comic book movie, but I too often found myself guessing what was going to happen. I just think this was such a great opportunity to do something mind blowing, and it all struck me as sort of hollow and typical in the end. That said, Phoenix rocks in the role, and it's almost worth seeing to witness what he does. Almost.

Hillary clinton says tulsi gabbard is a russian asset who cannot be controlled by the dnc clintonista's. This is why I voted for jill stein in 2016!

Breaking news george kent testifies before congress that he tried to warn qid pro quo joe biden in 2015 that hunter biden's ukranian dealings were a conflict of interest and giving a green light to corruption despite government policy on anti corruption.but was rebuffed by joe biden.

Re: “Harmony and Twang

What a great story Brian, and a super slice of Tucson musical history. I know how much research is involved in these Tucson Salvage stories to get the facts straight and you have done it once again. Thanks for all of your hard work! FYI I'm finally transcribing my 2001 phone interview with Gary Paxton, so the Arizona musical history work never ends. Rock-A-Billys Rule! Congratulations again.

Re: “Harmony and Twang

This is amazing - and I have to add that she and David are just the most amazing people. My children were two of those kids she cared for from the time they were born until they went to school - and then on school breaks for several years. They are the reason my children are so well behaved and as well rounded as they are. I couldnt have asked for better people to help raise and guide my kids!
