Re: “T Q&A

Outstanding & much relevance today Tucson Weekly's Ms. Herreras. A subject close to my heart. Tucson Weekly ask's the right Q's & I appreciate the A's. Sadly, I was 8 yrs young when MLK was shot and cannot believe how much the very same exist today in more covert and coded language. We appreciate your coverage and hope your readers also watch May 16 PBS Documentary on your above Q&A.

Re: “T Q&A

What an inspiration you continue to be! Everything you said was so powerful but what really stuck with me was "that personal creativity should be more embraced as an essential part of personal wellness". Thanks dear friend for the reminder to get creating again rather than putting it off while I take care of the less important day to day things! Keep up the great work; here's to creativity and the process. I love you! Janice :0)

Re: “T Q&A

What an interesting article to introduce this multi-dimensional woman
to the people of Tucson. I'm sure many will visit her Creative Cottage just to bask in her warmth.GH

Re: “T Q&A

Kaitlin really does provide a wonderful space to explore artist creativity in a stress free environment. Her Creative Cottage is a place where women can gain inspiration and just enjoy making something fun.

Re: “T Q&A

Once again Kaitlin has seen a need within her community and and within herself and provided an answer to the need. By creating an opportunity and providing a space, there is now a place in Tucson for people to come to express the integration of the whole self in what they are themselves able to produce. Kaitlin has a genius and continues to be an inspiration in ways to show others the healing and transformative power of expressing the inner self; everyone is served. More power to her and wishes for success in this effort.

We need more stories about local people who are making a difference.

I've worked and created with Kaitlin before and can attest to her inspiring well-spring of creativity and the ability to truly connect with those around her~ She is a vibrant, empathetic and wonderful artist and person!

Re: “T Q&A

What an interesting story. Thank-you for bringing this to our intention. When we nurture our creative needs we find it so much easier to deal with the rest of life - especially the stressors in our lives. I was one of those people K. refers to who set aside art for 35 years while I was working. What a waste.

This is a great idea - may it flourish.

Re: “T Q&A

I love Kaitlin's comment that one does not have to be a born artist and that everyone needs art and can do art. A reminder to tap into a new reserve - thanks for that K.

3.24.11 Mari, I've always appreciated you as both a good soul and writer. Jeffrey Scott Brown has my vote and I hope I can interest some of my colleagues here in the N.E. to read your story on the courage and hope Jeffrey Scott Brown inspires. p.s. I, being guilty too of being a tad emotional at times and have really not endured Jeffrey's sufferings so remind Jeffrey in the adage: "Progress not Perfection" sonny charles urbine aka charlie bass.

Fantastic for downtown. I hope that the Buffalo Exchange Congress Street shop proves itself to be a smart business move (as well as an emotional decision!) for Kerstin and Spencer. Will look forward to more shopping!

Re: “T Q&A

A friend of mine wrote "I love you" on Facebook. I am guessing it is aimed at the world. How cool is that?!! No qualifiers, no filtering out those that "shouldn't" be loved. I like that idea. I hope it will be tolerated.

Re: “Homeless Helper

I have had the privelige to volunteer with my husband while on vacation in Tucson. This is an excellent model for what we could all do.
