Re: “Editor's Note

It's good you're not paying the interns:
"some peperoni and mozzarella cheese"
"$400 dollars"

Re: “Editor's Note

Durham's hit pieces against Chew are a turn-off. No one in our central neighborhood has his campaign signs up. (They're only stuck on street corners with the others'.)
He's desperate.

Re: “Editor's Note

Thank you, Tucson Weekly! And specifically, thank you, Margaret and Tom for your excellent coverage. We (the Bisbee Deportation Centennial Commemoration Committee) have worked long and hard on studying the Deportation and have put together what we believe is a pretty durn good program of events and presentations about one of the most significant events to take place during Arizona's time as a state. I urge everyone interested in our state's history and Bisbee in particular to come down this weekend and next weekend. Who knows? You may even meet a Wobbly or two!

Re: “Editor's Note

This edition of the Tucson Weekly catapulted my interest with the Jack Dykinga piece and the one about the Ironwood National Monument. Great content! Thanks. Jack Dykinga is one of my all time heroes.

"Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner"

The '90s called...

They want their trite cliche back!

Oh, lookie me, I'm using synonyms in the same sentence.

Either way, congratulations to you and your crew Jim!

I'm sure that you'll make a better editor than the the last two. Especially the one right before you.

Re: “Editor's Note

Not me. I am content to continue with bland mediocrity. That way you are neither excited or dissappointed. Keep up the average work. Some of us depend on it.

Re: “Editor's Note

Wrong David.

If you knew anything about border crossing, you would know that the wall doesn't stop jack shit; wildlife being the sole exception.

All it does is give those who want to cross it better or more dangerous ideas of how to get through, over, under or around it.

Build the wall and save them all. It's the right thing to do if you want to protect them.

Re: “Editor's Note

Dear Mr. Heusler: There is no such thing as a "carefully researched argument against planned parenthood." Have you given thought to just standing on a street corner downtown and handing out copies? We need a replacement for Sweeney who passed away some years ago.

A proper Editor's Note.
What a change from the "Dear Diary" entries.

Re: “Editor's Note

Good Luck Jim!

I hope the paper finds a more appropriate course that both aligns with the community and pushes the community to engage with alternative perspectives. The Weekly used to be very good at towing that line and I hope it can return to those higher standards of journalism, better editing and a wider reach throughout the community!

Re: “Editor's Note

I really enjoyed the Lake Powell article, and as a water scientist it makes me really happy to see that this is still "in the news," as drought is sort of a "slow disaster." Although it is slow, it is the killer of many a culture. Technology allows us to extend that slow death and even mitigate some of the disaster, but there will always be consequences to this.

It's not that I don't respect the "art" main stories the Weekly has been publishing of late, but I am happy to see something a little "harder" this month.

You'll do a great job as interim editor!

Re: “Editor's Note

It simply follows the rule of college journalism. They promote government expansion at any cost and don't do for yourself, wait until somebody does it for you. Add to that the global warming fraud still being run by old democrats, and you have a liberal wackadoo world.

Challenge your professors for evidence.
