Yeah, we went there a couple weeks ago and saw Section 8 Trio playing there .
We were lucky to catch the show, the band was really tight, the bartender was awsome, the place was clean, great service. We'll have to go back, hopefully the same band will be there.
A lovely new gallery! But I think their summer hours are still in effect (Sept 2010)
long light hair malissa's the bomb ! geat attitude, great service, great leggs ! she works friday and saturday days. a must meet and greet.
I'm the non beer drinker in our group and if a brew pub can keep me as happy as the rest of the bunch, it's a great place.
Their version of the mojito is excellent- plenty of fresh muddled mint and a slice of orange, quite strong and not too sweet but intensely flavored.
Another plus- their beer battered fish and chips arrives at the table hot and crisp and the wait staff cheerfully substituted sweet potato fries for the usual ones.
At the sign of the Big Bottle they have the finest unpretentious music venue in town. Great musicians (mostly local, but some blues stars also turn up), a well-used dance floor, pool tables, no pseudos, no pressure to drink. They also put on rockin' benefit performances when the need arises; does that make 'em Boondocks saints?
Went to Bedroxx's to hear a "blues band" and my girlfriend and I had a blast.
Nice people ,good music and great drink specials !!
Great food ,drinks and staff. The live music provided by The Equinox and Eq on Thursday and saturday will keep you coming back to this location over and over again
Skybox's atmosphere and entertainment are far better than expected for a Tucson watering hole and dance place. The bands on Friday and Saturday evening play oldies and pop and are the best dancing with class Tucson has had to offer in a long time. The servers are very professional and friendly. The food is of good quality and the price is not bad. It far exceeds places on Tanque Verde, Swan and Ft. Lowell, Campbell and River or Campbell and Skyline as a place for professionals to meet on Friday evening.

This place is great. Beautiful patio and delicious food. I have never left dissapointed and I assure other they will not either!!
Casa Vicente Restaurante was a real find for us. Well worth trying it--you will be hooked. Great food!
Karaoke with Sean is awesome! Salty Dawg has pool, darts, munchies, and Guinness...what more could you want?
This is great venue for bands to play. The staff is very respectful of the musicians, it's just nice to be treated like an artist instead of a human jukebox. Always a diverse crowd, great drinks, and a very fun relaxed atmosphere.
LOVE this group! I've seen three of their plays, and returned to see all of them twice. The actors are enthusiastic and extraordinarily talented, especially with musicals. The theatre itself is very small, which makes everything so much more intimate. It's great to be able to see every emotion on the actors' faces no matter where you sit. Their set is my favorite part; most of their productions use a variation on an all-black set with minimal set design, allowing them to produce plays with broad settings and many scene changes. Surprisingly, it works extremely well! Definitely recommended!
My husband and I look forward to the enthusiastic, entertaining shows put on by the group at studio connections. The actors have a great time on stage and that, in turn, makes the audience have a great time! We've seen four shows there so far and cannot wait to see more! Each time we wind up taking along more and more friends, it's just so entertaining and fa un way to spend an evening!
All 3 DJs play vinyl-only obscurities from the 70's & 80's: Disco, Post-Punk, Coldwave, Synthpop, Electro, Italo, Early Industrial & Goth, 80's Detroit Techno & Chicago House. A veritable smorgasbord of synthetic weirdness to please the kiddies. Dancing is encouraged.
THANKS TO FAMOUS SAMS FOR GIVING US A SPOT EVERY MONTH FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS. IT HAS GIVEN US GREAT EXPERIENCE. WHEN BERKYS FOLDED AND SKIRTS CUTBACK THEY WERE THERE FOR THE BANDS AND FANS OF (YES)................ R & R MUSIC. THANKS FAMOUS SAMS
I rate it a 5 because the food, service, and atmosphere are all great. Oh, and the beer is good too 8 ). It is a beer bistro, not "fine dining"...so I don't know what the other ladies problem was. It's an awesome place to hang out with your friends and have some great food! (Just stay away from the fried balogne sandwich). I do recommend the beer and brats, strombolis (both are awesome), pizza, pretzel bites or fried jalepenos (if you can handle it).
Great service--ginormous servings and fries to die for. Roomy atmosphere with plenty of tvs to catch your fave sporting event.
