Re: “Little Anthony's Diner

I've always had a great time at Little Anthony's. It's a very fun atmosphere; themed like a 50's diner usually staffed by a DJ. The food is good but not great; its basic homestyle stuff. The portions are large though. They have car shows right out front on some weekends and send my kids a birthday card for a free sundae.

Re: “Sher-E Punjab

There are several good Indian restaurants in Tuscan, but this one is not one of them. Horrible service, and arrogant management is enough to ruin your dining experience. We are vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian soup, but were instead served a chicken soup. When we noticed something fishy after eating a couple of spoons, we called manager who informed us that it was a chicken soup, But to our surprise and shock, rather than apologizing, he trivialized it as a minor mistake. To a vegetarian serving non-veg is certainly a big mistake, but this gentleman said such mistakes do happen and so what if this has happened to us. Instead of feeling sorry, he insisted that he had done a favor to us by admitting that it was a chicken soup. He went to the extent that he is running this restaurant for 20 years and he doesn't care about my experience or any adverse review I may write,

Avoid this place if you do not risk ruining your dining experience.

Re: “Greasewood Park

On Sunday Sept 15th the gates were still closed at noon. Someone just does not care. They do not return phone calls as stated on there phone service.

Re: “Catalina Foothills High School Auditorium

Eric Holtan--a former music teacher convicted of molesting teenage students. Eric Holtan is the founder and conductor of True Concord. He served time in prison for his crimes and your support is an affront to the victims of sexual abuse.

Here is an article from 1999 regarding his crimes:
https://www.postbulletin.com/choir-director-pleads-innocent-in-sex-case/article_c91f03ec-1604-561d-93d9-c8c3655129f3.html

According to the criminal complaint filed..., Holtan admitted having consensual affairs with the two students from 1994 until 1998. The complaint said he told police he used "poor judgment" in getting involved with the girls. But he said he believed they were 16 at the time. That additional year in their ages is the difference between first-degree and third-degree sexual conduct.

According to a Tucson Citizen story, Holtan had sexual contact up to 50 times with these two female students (based on complaint filed).
If you doubt the validity of this information here is a direct link to his record (this is available online): http://theworthyadversary.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/HoltanEric.pdf

Re: “Caffe Torino (Foothills)

Racist, sexist, abusive owner tells musicians to yell at black people for not tipping. Open use of the N word. Constant judging of women as sexual objects and over pouring to take advantage. Owner and several members of staff are convicted felons. Abusive, entitled customers the racist owner has groomed for years. This is the most toxic environment in the Tucsion restaurant community.

Re: “El Rio Congress Clinic

Took my both my kids to get there yearly check up with Doc Adams. The time we got in the exam room . They had them put paper robes on and they said they had 1 patient ahead. My kids waited a hour in the room freezing without being seen. Kids got the clothes back on and we left. Very poor place to take children. Something needs to be done there

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum's Ironwood Gallery is transformed for each unique exhibit and has sometimes included line plants and animals to further the conservation message of the exhibit. A definite must-see!

Re: “Chef Alisah’s

Alisahs and Cafe Poca Cosa ,I believe, are the two best restaurants in Tucson. Great ,savory comfort food, Bosnian style. Everything is delicious. Business went crazy after Guy Fieri visited the place.
It's tucked in a corner of a small business strip south of Rudasill on Oracle. Ahmet, the owner, is a workaholic as is his wife. Hard work pays off. I've been doing restaurants in Tucson since 1962.
Many good places have gone by the wayside I am sorry to say. One of the toughest businesses to stay in. We have been going since they opened 10 years ago. When we lived on the north side we went twice a week and left large tips just so they wouldn't close. Lots of regular customers. Do not pass this one up!

Re: “KVOI 1030 AM Radio Station

Today May 20, 2019 I listened to three of KVOI 1030 AM programs through out the day. The first one was informative in a negative way. The second one used a lot of educated words, terms, phrases, and said absolutely nothing. The third program kept leading you in one direction then the other making you think there was some great knowledge was to be learned from what they were describing , That was false. When the whole subject changed to a totally different subject. What a confusing , unintelligent , and, a confusing waste of time to listen to KVOI 1030 AM Radio.
