Re: “Crying Onion Café

The one time I was here, the owner (female) was very rude. The friends I was with agreed. She was short with us when asking questions (it was our first time there) and made us feel so uncomfortable after delivering our food with an angry disposition that we left without eating it. Needless to say, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Re: “Claire's Cafe

We used to frequent Claire's for breakfast when we lived in NW area about 5 years ago. We had to be in Catalina early on a recent Saturday and thought we'd revisit. First clue should have been how empty the place was for a Saturday AM. Food and service sucked. Don't know what happened to this once great place.

Re: “Crying Onion Café

Very disappointed. We go there all the time but service today was terrible we ordered coffee with cream and water with lemon got coffee no cream waited 10 minutes asked hostess she brought cream still had no water with lemon another 5 minutes went by and still no water with lemon said something to hostess again about the water with lemon finally waitress shows up with water no,lemon waited again when we saw the waitress take the order of someone who came in after us was the last straw we got up to pay for the coffee the waitress approached us in line and asked if we were going to order I tried to explain why we were not and she turned her back on me well that is not service in fact we sat there for 30 minutes with no service and what we go was extremely strong coffee and water with no lemon. We will not be visiting your establishment again!

Re: “Glass Onion Cafe

Inattentive and slow service combined with mediocre food that's overpriced. Phony hippy vibe is the icing on the cake for this disaster of a cafe.

Re: “The B Line

B-line Cafe is a gem. A great place to take out-of-town visitors or just go out to lunch with friends. I love the fish burrito and the pasta in vodka sauce, but everything is going to be good. Fresh ingredients, good spicing, ample amounts and nice presentation. You also have great choices in drinks. This place wins award after award, year after year, so as with other ratings from the public on TW, the ratings here seem off-base.

Except for mine. :)

Re: “Glass Onion Cafe

We met friends Saturday, 5/7 for lunch - as we purchased the groupon $10 for $20 food. Well, we think that the girl messed up our tickets so badly (must have been new) that the total for two was $26 (WTH)! On their menu you can get a sandwich, side and drink for $ how the heck did they come up with $26?? It was so awful, we just paid the extra 6 bucks and left. The meatball sandwich was cold by the time it got to me (we waited forever to get our food), the side salad was nothing special. Hubby had the roast beef sandwhich with pasta salad...again nothing special. Friends agreed, theirs was nothing special as well, certainly not to warrant $26 tab...for sandwhiches...come on! Won't be back.

Re: “The Eclectic Café

I admit the food was awesome but I was totally turned off by a wait person whose pants hung so low I could see his dingy underwear. This was over a year ago but I was so turned off by the sloppy appearance that I have not returned.

Re: “The B Line

I was enthusiastic to try this restaurant because their ads in the local papers look good and their storefront does look inviting - Very disappointing dining experience on the evening of January 14, 2010.

Too expensive for what they offer. You can cook what they serve better and for less money. Cramped dining area with uncomfortable seating. Difficult-to-avoid gum under the table. Slow service when not that busy. Bland and flavorless beans, guacamole, salsa and tuna salad. Most of the tortilla and potato chips served were broken up in small pieces.

Disorganized and unprofessional servers. First, they tried to give our food to another table. Mistakes happen, understandable. But then, I was met with an accusatory and catty, "Well, it didn't *say* that," upon being told I ordered the sandwich on different bread. Another server wanted us to leave our credit card number with her because "the machine isn't working." Bizarre scene.

As a former server, I understand things happen, but this place is too much - Save your money and yourself a headache !

Re: “Colors Food and Spirits

I still miss the Cockpit but that place has been gone for years. Colors is nice enough though. A few cute boys work there. They have lots of martinis to choose from but I'm not a big fan of their food.

Re: “Jasper Neighborhood Restaurant and Bar

I came because friends told me that they had great drinks, but the latin tapas menu was absolutely amazing- the food was made with great care and skill and delicious; the drinks were very good also. We spent five hours there at dinner, tells you something. Great food, service and atmosphere!

Re: “Malibu Yogurt and Ice Cream

This place is great, the yogurt is creamy and good. They have fat free, dairy free, and low calorie/carb options. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to visit a beach themed atmosphere with tasty yogurt. Yay for Malibu

Re: “Jason's Deli

Jason's Deli has closed in Tucson. The franchisees have gone out of business as of May 30 2010 at both locations.

Re: “Colors Food and Spirits

Fun crowed but don't come for the food. You'd do just as well eating at a truck stop. Seriously! They basically serve up greasy grill grub. But again, nice enough crowd.

Re: “Something Sweet Dessert Lounge

Their service is so slow that I walked out without trying the desert. If I was to ever return to their business I would for-sure take my sleeeping bag.

The Cup Cafe is one of my favorites. I am a regular. Great food and speciality drinks.
