Re: “Mystery & Magic Dinner Theater New Year's Eve at the Sheraton

I will second the review above! We left at 10pm after a horrible and cold dinner - served at 9:15, massive sounds issues, the show started late, a horrible bar and terrible service. There was nothing redeemable about this evening and to top it all off, I've called to complain and no one will call me back. This is a scam event that is completely overpriced!

Re: “Mystery & Magic Dinner Theater New Year's Eve at the Sheraton

I'm not even going to rate this event with ANY stars!!! The doors opened late, the sound system was awfull when it was working, the salad altho good was minimal, the Mystery act was super cheesy to the point the 2 tables next to us would blow their horns during the performance so we couldn't hear, the 2nd course meal (if you could call it that) was dry chicken, cold mashed potatoes and something that resembled broccoli which didn't get served until nearly 10 pm. Our table did not get any rolls because they ran out and I had to use the butter on the table to moisten the mashed potatoes to make them edible. The desert was dry lava cake, NOT the cheese cake as promised. Actually, NOTHING was as promised and I liken it to false advertising. Not even coffee was served or offerred.
You had to purchase your coffee at the bar which closed 1/2 hour early. I should have left early like The 6 other people at our table did.

Re: “Museum of the Horse Soldier

Great Museum that everyone should visit. The number listed under the address is wrong. Please, Tucson Weekly, change the wrong content.

Re: “Pima County Juvenile Court Training Center

Do not apply or work for the courts or juvenile detention side. This is the worst place to work and you get treated very poorly. Supervisors are not helpful and the director of Detention doesnt help either. As an ex employee, they cover each others back and dont give a care in the world for what the employee needs help with while on the job.

Re: “Southwest University of Visual Arts Galleries

I am devoted to the FREE Friday figure drawing sessions and to the people who put it on. SUVA offers this as a gift to the community, providing a wonderful variety of models, a large and comfortable space to work in and skillful, congenial monitoring. I look forward to this session every week. It's great fun with lovely people. Come in through the flower-strewn archway and suss it out!

Re: “UA Stevie Eller Dance Theatre

Went to last night's performance of Positions of Power. First, having over the years been to dance in NYC, Jacob's Pillow, LA, and San Francisco and having been terribly disappointed by what we had seen in Phoenix when we moved there in 2002, we didn't expect much from dance in Tucson. Still, we had to give Artifact a change. Right? Absolutely right. Just terrific. Musically it was a delight. The choreography was powerful especially A Painted Devil. And the dancing was quite good, in a few cases outstanding. Thank you, ADP for giving us dance that we could truly enjoy.

Re: “Book of Life Community Church

I have been to many different churches in town to find the one I feel comfortable with. The congregation seems very personable with each other. Also I love the way the Sunday service is conducted. The Sundays I am not able to make it because I am on the road either coming home from El Paso or going to El Paso. But I do listen to the live feed! May God give you all many blessings. SEE YOU NEXT SUNDAY!!

Re: “Le Bistro

When i was slinging drugs twenty years ago, a crew of us would dine here and spend hundreds of dollars. It was so fun. The waiter wouldnt write anything down and we ordered like eight apps before our dinner. Great escargo

Re: “Kinetic Arts Tucson

We love Kinetic Arts Tucson! I enrolled the whole family. The kids take yoga, tumbling, and aerial/circus classes, while I enjoy pole fitness and dance. KAT is conveniently located and the space is beautifulits even large enough to double as a venue, which is a unique advantage because previously there werent many opportunities for polers and aerialists to perform locally. The instructors are knowledgeable, experienced and welcoming. I cant say enough good things. Ive finally found a one-stop-shop for fun, exercise and recreation for the entire family!

Re: “Mr. An's Teppan Steak and Sushi

my family ate at mr. ans last night (july 14, 2018). my daughter has lupus and fibromyalgia and asked if it was possible for her food to be prepared with no sodium or salt of any kind as it is fatal to her condition. she was assured they will make sure of that. she got shrimp and veggies. apparently the chef did not know that soy sauce contains sodium and she ended up very ill. when i called, i was told that if anyone has allergies or special needs such as no salt requirements, their establishment is not the place to eat. the advice the owners son gave me was that my daughter should not eat out as no one will accommodate her. no apologies of any sort.

Re: “UA Student Union Memorial Center

I am glad that this center was finally established. Students need to know where they could get help if they needed to. I hope that this center will expand the area of their work and they will attract more students to cooperate with them. Learners do need professional help today. they need to know that in order to advance their writing skills the only thin that they need to do is to check Review Essay Service online and find a reliable writer.
