TUCSON − To promote healthy lifestyles and overall wellbeing and to increase cross-cultural awareness on the University of Arizona campus and in surrounding communities, the Confucius Institute at the University of Arizona will once again convene its annual “Chinese Health Day” on April 4th, 2015, co-sponsored by the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.
This unique event includes information-sharing on health services, health assessments and screening, Chinese massage, hands-on training of CPR, healthy lifestyle games and demonstrations, performances of Chinese martial arts, music and dance, and introductions to Traditional Chinese Medicine. A healthy Chinese food preparation show and Chinese food tasting are new highlights of this event. A traditional Chinese Lion Dance, fashion show, calligraphy exhibition, tips on taking photos of martial arts customs and Easter egg paining with Chinese characters are some examples of exciting activities that will be featured.
Professor Zhao Chen, co-director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Arizona, (CIUA) said “In recent years, more K-12 school students and community members are learning Chinese, and people’s interest in Chinese medicine and martial arts for optimal health is also growing. CIUA is very glad to share Chinese wellness culture and practice with Tucson communities. It is a fun day for people of all ages to enjoy the beautiful Tucson spring and to experience health promotion activities.”
“CIUA has designed Chinese Health Day to appeal to as many constituencies as possible. We are extremely happy to have many partners joining us to present health exhibitions, lectures, interactive activities and performances. We believe that everyone will find something to captivate their attention and expand their horizons at the events and performances which range from music to taiji,” said Professor John Olsen, CIUA Co-director.

Let us see the best of Virginia Woolf instead of the precious and indeterminate moments represented in this production. Language and lyricisms are part but not all of the memorable. The memorable has something to do with lingering significances.
This group has changed to every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:30-6:00. We now meet at Peppi's House (TMC Hospice) at 2715 N Wyatt Dr., Tucson AZ 85712. Please call Judith or Nancy at

Something for everyone!
The perfect way to improve on a Monday. Kick back with a great cocktail, munch on a few appetizers and listen to the unbelievable talent of Phil Davis
I have experienced Death Monologues several times and it's an amazing blend: life-engaged and death-centric simultaneously. Whether you want to address your fears, work through end of life issues, get in touch with your grief or just have a new view of death, you will find yourself in a more enlightened state afterward.
In this beautiful performance, Death shines without diminishing Life's glow in the least.
Fill the auditoriums! Tell your friends! Start the conversations!
Forward-thinkers, the merely curious and death aficionados...you simply must not miss it.
My girls will love it!
Should be fun!
So excited! My three kids will LOVE this!
Family fun! We will be there.!
Fun for the whole family!!
