Re: “Police Dispatch

This guy probably should have been checked out by EMS. Maybe he was falling asleep because his blood sugar was too low. Or maybe he was septic and in shock. Not being there hampers one's ability to evaluate, and maybe EMS was called, but if I was a prudent and reasonable cop, I would want this guy evaluated by medical before I released him to go with an acquaintance of unknown knowledge and understanding of medical things. I say this as a paramedic for 38 years.

Re: “Police Dispatch

It sounds to me as if this man was on a sleeping medication. Those medications are very dangerous - people have woken up to find themselves cooking, driving and more all while they are sound asleep.

If they were having that loud a fight after six years, they shouldn't get married.

Seriously? An average cost of $67 per shirt... Who shops in these places and believes they are getting a bargain? No, wait. I think I know...

This woman is old enough to have GROWN UP - which is what she needs to do. Sounds like she KEPT LOOKING at something she wanted to see and evaluate.

Re: “Police Dispatch

You see what happened in Rockford Patrick Skater? They're trying to stick a guy with SMI with 1-3 years for graffiti in Rockford, IL. I was glad to see his local community fundraising the poor guy a defense.

The man is entitled to a rule 11 and not to be ridicueled by the public eye :/

Re: “Police Dispatch

Once again you seem to think that the suffering of an individual with a serious mental illness is entertainment. I keep checking for some real humor in this section. I am sure that we have enough crime in Tucson to find something more appropriate to print. Humor need not be cruel.

Re: “Police Dispatch

Police insiders say this has become common occurrence because of the proliferation of drugs and the rampant abuses. Compassion can only go so far when the officers safety, well being and even lives are violated from someone on meth or crack. Drug abusers are costing Mexican and Central Americans their lives.

Re: “Police Dispatch

This man obviously has serious mental health concerns. What is so entertaining about this? Please share about something else for a change. Perhaps you could report how the officers are attending educational seminars to enhance their compassion in responding to this type of situation.

Re: “Police Dispatch

A couple of times I have had to call 911 on a extremely impaired driver at around 5 am on my work commute and the police never show up.
