Re: “Make Womb for Daddy

Just wtf. A guy that used to be a girl got pregnant by a girl that used to be a guy. So why didn't they both the stay the sex they were born as, since they seem to be attracted to the opposite sex of that, anyway!? Beyond confusing and weird

Re: “Nine Years Later

She has all their blood on her hands. She was sent letters to both offices and the Police Cheif as well as Sherriff advised her to have security at her Congress on your corner event. Instead a 9 year old lost her life because of her gun free liberal BS. Her husband too is a liar of purpose attempting to defraud Diamond Back he didnt run last cycle because it was front and center of bad press. WE ALL NEED TO REMIND THE PUBLIC OF THESE FACT UNTIL THEY BOTH DISAPPEAR!

Re: “Nine Years Later

Guns are coming into the US from cartels south of the border. A wall would help...but no let's all punish the innocent.

Re: “Nine Years Later

Why do these idiots think expanding background checks will stop nut jobs? Laughner passed one before he went on his rampage along with another TX church mass shooter.
This any many other reasons you cannot talk to the left about gun control, its like wiping before you poop, they just don't make any sense.

Re: “Nine Years Later

You should have the integrity to interview people and print the TRUTH of how the Tucson City Council, shamefully, used the January 9, 2011 shooting as an excuse to unlawfully silence public criticism of local officials and to promulgate what they called the "Civility Accord."

The FACTS are NOT in dispute, and are set forth is a series of documents from an ongoing case now awaiting resolution in U.S. District Court.

Re: “Jazz Hands, Everyone!

While it's great that so many jazzers are coming to town, this is not a jazz festival. I have been to a number of real jazz festivals and they feature concentrated appearances in multiple venues at the same time, so that you can walk from one place to another and hear different groups playing. All this is is concentrated booking of acts over a period of days.

I am glad this is happening, but please don't call it a festival. It's not.

Re: “Jazz Hands, Everyone!

Check out La Concina Restaurant on Friday nites....Saw a small jazz group there new years eve and they were hot; new original stuff, not the old stuffy standards.

Re: “Arts, Big and Small

Hey, Jim,

I would like to volunteer to write a column for The Weekly called "Ask a Chicagoan." This column is a spin-off of the justly popular "Ask a Mexican" that used to be in The Weekly. With election looming we know what city is Trump's perpetual whipping town. So to avoid the usual stereotypical views of my hometown of Chicago, we need ASK A CHICAGOAN.

I am also starting a short play involving this concept, so the column will help my creativity.
You may have some and I also have a fe wothers who can field questions.

Re: “Gimme Shelter

While I found your tribute to Green Fields Country Day School reflective and informative, There was a piece of it's history you failed to mention. Kerri Strug, An Alum of Green Field's, who was a member of the Magnificent Seven, the victorious all-around women's gymnastic team that represented The USA in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. She famously and courageously performed the vault with an injured ankle and was carried to the podium by her coach, Bela Karolyi. My daughter attended Green Fields around that time and I remember that it was the talk of the school, the town, and the nation.

Re: “Gimme Shelter

I see that the article does not mention the $533,000 cost to initially revamp the detention center. I(ts good enough to house juveniles but not illegals?) The article also doesnt mention the estimated $1million + annual cost of housing the illegals that the Catholic Community services is not going to pay for! Where is this money coming from the supervisors have already committed to oh yes the residents of Pima county. The collective illegal immigrant supporting residents of The county should all step up and each take in a few of these illegals house, feed, clothe, and pay medical expenses as well as provide transportation and be held responsible for the iillegals court dates and eventual deportation.

Re: “Gimme Shelter

Again, another reason to vote no when dingleberry and the unsupervisors ask for more money. They are going to raise your property taxes anyway like the just did quietly and waste them on illegals and yes remember this when the unsuperivors are up for reelection.
