Re: “The Skinny

This will be a net pickup for the Democrats, since this was McSally's seat.

Where does she actually live? How long has she lived there? I am not voting for carpet baggers.

Re: “The Skinny

I know Ann Kirkpatrick personally. She's a wonderful person and a fantastic candidate. I'm not sure it's a blue wave, it's just Ann's a terrific candidate who's making Peterson look a bit amateurish.

Re: “The Skinny

The Tr administration is still separating parents from children. This month, it is approx 50 US citizen children from their parents seeking asylum. Since currently, our Rep. senators and representatives vote the party line, I will not be considering her.

Re: “The Skinny

Shout out to the Dem party beard who got the Green candidate kicked off the ballot in AZ-02 - great way to bring Progressives over to your establishment candidate. I'll be leaving this race blank.

Re: “The Skinny

Mrquez Peterson should stick to what she's good at: Bankrupting gas stations.

Re: “The Skinny

Mrquez Peterson is a one trick pony. Her pro-business stance takes precedence over more important issues like climate change, health care, education, and civil rights. She would be a rubber stamp for Trump.

Q: Why did Ally Miller cross the road?
A: She'll let us know if she ever makes it.

Re: “The Skinny

Great coverage of the CD3 race, not.

ONE..count it..ONE sentence? The GOP primary, as is often the case, received little to no coverage in ANY media other than local radio. How about digging in a bit to understand AND REPORT how Nick Pierson pulled off an over-50% win, in a district that covers half of the south end of Arizona?

Re: “The Skinny

John McCain was deeply troubled by Obama's and Biden's lack of concern for Russian aggression.

Funny that's who is at his funeral. It makes the appearance that he did not care for the country quite as much as is currently being reported. It does seem a bit odd that they only became concerned about Russia after Trump's election.

Re: “The Skinny

Tomorrow, John McCain will be laid to rest. eulogized by former political foes and presidents. Yesterday, I listened to Joe Biden and others remember a friend and ally they were not ashamed to say they loved and deeply admired. I cannot add to those remarkable comments, I never met the Senator and never voted for him. But at times he made me laugh and made me angry and he always had my respect for what he endured and for the life he led. I think that says a lot and I believe I am not alone.

Re: “The Skinny

How many balloons have been launched from the Tucson site to date?
When is the next scheduled launch?
Where do these balloons land?
I believe the answers to my questions are:
1). none
2). none
3). where ever the wind blows them.

Re: “The Skinny

I find an interesting comparison between D 10 candidates DeGrazia and Ripley. From lifelong Domingo we get the somewhat limp but straightforward answer that he didn't vote because he just wasn't interested/involved. And globe-trotting Catherine thinks she always voted but the cat must've eaten her absentee ballots or she filled one out then forgot to mail it or whatever. Having voted from afar and arranging for ballots to get to the States via diplomatic pouch, I know it can be done but one has to make the effort.

Re: “The Skinny

Miller and the Goldwater Institute are a perfect fit for the "No to everything" AM radio crowd.
They should call themselves the "Sand in gears for progress" club. This was originally said about medical organizations but it applies to Goldwater: If an organization has the word "institute" on the end you can be sure that the only thing they're studying is how to make money.

Re: “The Skinny

They have attorneys on retainer to deal with employee lawsuits they can use so there is very little additional expense to defending their actions. But it does keep them busy. It's all money that could have been used to repair the crumbling roads.
