In January, El Güero Canelo was awarded one of the James Beard Foundation's 2018 America's Classics Awards, alerting the whole wide world to the delicious wonder of this longtime Tucson favorite. Actually, El Güero Canelo has been Tucson's favorite hot dog provider since, well, at least since the category was introduced in Best of Tucson 2006. Eating one of these hot dogs means having a little piece of Tucson history in your mouth.
