Christopher Holt, aka Critter, is a 22-year-old native Arizonan who DJs at Vaudeville for 2Bit Tuesdays; he also spins at Club Congress' Thursday night Optimist Club from time to time. Holt's playlist consists of hip hop, house, electro and dub-step. He is a senior at the UA.

What was the first concert you ever saw?

The first concert I saw was either No Doubt, on the Tragic Kingdom Tour, or Boyz II Men with TLC.

What CDs are in your changer right now?

Does an iPod suffice? I constantly have it on shuffle, but the artists I've listened to the most in the past year or so would be Modeselektor, Crookers, Burial, AC Slater, Lee Mortimer, Hervé and Jesse Rose.

How many total albums do you own (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks)?

Hundreds, from Ace of Base to Zoo Brazil—most of which are in MP3 format. I sold pretty much all of my CDs to Bookmans, except for those select nostalgic few.

Do you download music, and if so, legally or illegally?

I only download music illegally if I can find it in the highest-quality format. Otherwise, I usually just buy MP3s off of Amazon.com or Juno.

What song would you like to have played at your funeral?

I just envision someone's cell phone going off at my funeral with the Dawson's Creek theme song playing as their ringtone. "I don't wanna wait, for our lives to be ooovvverr."

What was the first album you owned?

The first album that I owned was Brandy's self-titled album. I have no shame. I love me some '90s R&B.

Musically speaking, what do you love that your friends don't know about? What's your favorite guilty pleasure?

Bad Top 40 jams that I hear on the radio. Also, collecting '90s music, mostly dance and hip hop.

What band or artist changed your life, and how?

I would have to say that the most influential people to me musically are my friends Billy Laing (Captain Crunk) and Nick Robin (xBen), who got me into DJing in the first place.
