21 and Over

Spring break is a weird time to have 21 & Over in theaters. After all, the target demographic for this movie will be spending a week creating drunken situations just like the ones presented on screen, so why would they pay to watch other people have that fun? On the night of his 21st birthday, Jeff Chang (Justin Chon) is surprised by two high school friends who want to take him out for a night of nonstop drinking. One problem: Chang has a med school exam the next morning. Well, naturally, he won’t turn down his friends, and they find themselves in one bad situation after another. The guys who wrote and directed 21 & Over also came up with the original script for The Hangover. Good to see they’re branching out in such a bold, new way.

21 and Over is not showing in any theaters in the area.
