Heads up Tastykake lovers: Your favorites are back at Frankie’s South Philly Cheesesteaks. There is a limited amount but more are on the way.
For those who haven’t been following the Tastykake conundrum, the beloved East Coast treat disappeared from Frankie’s late last month when changes at Tastykake corporate took Southern Arizona off the distribution list. However, after a passionate social media campaign, Tastykake relented.
Finally, we’ve got closure — and ‘kakes.

I can understand scrapple, I can even on a good day understand those things that have cheese wiz on them, but I will never for the life of me understand the appeal of Tastykakes.
I understand your comment, Tastykakes is a desert we east coaster grew up with and love, I should say 99% east coasters

Dunno about that, Frankie. I grew up on the east coast and never heard of Tastykakes until reading about them in the Weekly. Maybe I had a sheltered childhood.
Strangely Fry’s has them now.
Hmm I wanna try one. Maybe for lunch today 🙂
