  1. Read ’em and weep KIDS, and anyone else who gives a damn about education. This is a very dark day for Arizona. We have elected a governor for whom 49th in the nation is not close enough to the bottom!

  2. Sorry, but I disagree with you, Betts about stating “this is a very dark day for Arizona.” Arizona has been witness to many dark days. Unfortunately, this is the “dark ages.” But, the most interesting part of this entire election is the race for Superintendent for Public Education. I mean, Diane Douglas . . . come on. Go to her website and read her bio . . . “I began studying the American education system and the federal government’s ever increasing intrusion into our local control since the early 1990s. I did it on my own, for my own edification rather than through a college of “education” in order to add letters after my name.”

Reality check here, who is this woman? Has anyone seen her during the campaign. In fact, if you do manage to go to her website: http://www.dianedouglas.com/, when you’re there, click on the tab at the top entitled “My Record & News.” She truly is a blank slate.

As you said, Betts, “”read ’em and weep . . . .”

  3. Do I sense some sad people out there? Just think, this time next year not only will all our schools be closed, but there also will be no drinkable water, no breathable air, and all citizens of the state will be required to own an automatic weapon.

  4. I’m not sure the TW got the 15% that I thought they would. But AZ righted itself once more.

Can’t wait to close all the public schools.

Just kidding. Besides what would we spend the billions we saved on?

    My work here is finished.

  5. I’m originally from California. I thought they were ignorant. Arizona is simply CRUEL. Mecham remember him?
