Remember Aaron Lewis? Not so much?
Well, does this ring a bell?
Yeah, Aaron Lewis (famously of Stain’d) is in town, promoting his solo country record with a show at the Fox Theatre tonight (at 7:30 p.m.; tickets start at $26) and he apparently wanted to get a round in at the Silverbell Golf Course yesterday.
No word on whether or not he was alarmed by (false) rumors that the city had fallen under martial law — though I assume that he would have skipped our town, preferring to be on the outside, looking in.
If you’re interested in hearing what Lewis’s country work sounds like, take a look below the jump.

To be fair, we did ask around about the last time a celebrity played at Silverbell and most people said that it’s been awhile.
Hey, I’m not faulting you folks for it. Any time you get a guy whose band broke Billboard records on a course, you’ve gotta run with it.
As for your silly “martial law” meme:
This massive boondoggle does not belong anywhere near Tucson – or anywhere else.
