This a chocolate filled with caramel and topped with sea salt. It is made by the new chocolate shop Chocolate Fox Chocolatier located in the tiny space next to HUB Restaurant and Ice Creamery at 266 E. Congress St. The shop does not have a retail space but you can buy the chocolates at a small display next to the cash register at HUB.

Seriously, this is the best chocolate I’ve ever bitten into. It made my ears ring and the hair on my neck stand up. That is all.

  1. The best chocolate I’ve ever tasted is the “Palet d’Or” at Bernachon in Lyon, France (each chockie is sprinkled with gold leaf, hence the name– they remain the definitive chocolate for me), but I’ll certainly try one of these next time I’m in Tucson.

  2. Dear gmgw,
Maybe, just for your refined palate, they can make one sprinkled with diamond dust and platinum flakes…

  3. JCC, geez man…issues?

Thanks for the tip on the chocolate Adam! Will head to the Hub today to try one. Always on the search for an ear ringingly delicious chocolate.

  4. why on earth would gold make chocolate taste any better? I guess GMGW it would be better to tell us why it tastes better than gloat that you overpaid for chocolate.
