Thousands of people and animals have been displaced from their homes and habitats while firefighters continue to battle the raging Wallow inferno.

The Wallow Fire burns outside of Springerville and Eager, Ariz. The 408,887 acre fire is burning through eastern Arizona and western New Mexico. It is at five percent containment.

  1. Why not use Arizona prison inmates, to fight the fires, that’s good way for them to repay for their crimes.

  2. insurance cost for a .60 cent an hour ward is prohibitive. Overtime Transportation and displacement of regular hourly employees would endanger Brewers chances of winning the Tour De France.
