- A broken window at Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ office
Weird and violent acts by the fringe right, such as the smashing of the windows at Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ office, are spreading across the country in the wake of the health-care vote.
Max Fisher of the Atlantic Wire notes:
As conservative anger over the passage of health care reform seeps into the furthest reaches of the right wing, pundits are struggling to comprehend the wave of small-scale violence against Democratic members of Congress. Thankfully, none of the violence has been anything approaching fatal. Rather, it is restricted to vicious but unfulfilled threats and incidents of bricks thrown through windows. But, for Congressmen concerned about their family’s safety, it is worrisome nevertheless.
Fisher has a rundown of violent acts here.

Interesting that you assume that the perpetrator is from the far right. Do you have hard evidence of this?
M is right: I’m more than sure that this act was perpetrated by a supporter of health care reform who breaks windows as a gesture of celebration and gratitude.
Sorta like when the UA won the NCAA tourney!
Gabby failed to follow the majority who did not want the healthcare reform.
She based her vote on what “she” thought was best. When you hold public
office and go against the majority expect heat. But throwing rocks through
windows only helps those in the minority.
