According to a Tucson Police Department report filed Saturday, Feb. 11, Martha Vazquez was cited for shoplifting at the Dillard’s in the Tucson Mall after a security guard saw her on a surveillance camera conceal a $338 Eileen Fisher jacket in a sweater she wore to the department store.
When the security guard went through her belongings, he also found a pair of $30 Kenneth Cole earrings she hadn’t purchased.
Read the report for yourself right here: Martha_Vazquez_Police_Report.pdf
It appears the incident cost Vazquez her job as 4 p.m. news anchor at KVOA Channel 4. In the police report, Vazquez told the cop she understood her rights. She said didn’t intend to steal the jacket and earrings at first, “but I did and I have no excuses for it.” Then she admitted she could have purchased them with her credit card.
Vazquez was released, and was told she’s no longer allowed back at Dillard’s, as well as Tucson and Park Place malls.
This article appears in Feb 9-15, 2012.

Wow. Thanks for the “how-to” in shoplifting. Granted, it didn’t work out too well for Martha, but still.
You’ve gone too far. Leave her alone.
film at 10pm?
The police person could not spell on the police report. They wrote still instead of steal. Is this what passes as a uniformed cop in Tucson.??.. Ignorance or illiterate take you choice.
She made a mistake and she is paying for it. No need to smear her any further. I have made many mistakes and I know that when you loose you do it alone. To be banned from the malls is not such a bad idea. I will ban myself, how is that!
I guess it’s okay to steal nowadays, huh? Wow, don’t feel bad for a shoplifter, people.
I have always been proud of how classy the Tucson Weekly is compared to some weekly newspapers, but this extensive coverage of Ms. Vazquez in disappointing. What’s the point?
Grey Hoodie Jacket – $338
Earrings – $30
DVD of Security Video – PRICELESS
I am so sad when people STEAL (not STILL….duh!) and when you LOSE (not LOOSE), yes, you often do it alone. Stealing is wrong. And it disappoints me when people think that for some reason it is okay to take from a ‘mall’ when, in reality, everyone who steals is stealing from each of us as our purchases reflect price increases because of theft. On a personal note, I hope that Martha will get some professional help to see why she made such foolish choices. Disappointed in her? YES. And, disappointed that anyone would relish an opportunity to rub salt in the wound.
Just a quick comment on why we’re covering this: When a familiar face in the media is suddenly and abruptly gone, that’s news. Also news: The reason why that familiar face is suddenly and abruptly gone.
Two blog posts and what will amount to 2-3 paragraphs in print is not what I would consider “extensive coverage.” It’s what I consider appropriate to explain Martha Vazquez’s departure from KVOA.
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Keep it gangsta M.V.!!!
Martha Vasquez was probably going through something personal that influenced her to make such a bad decision as to steal what she could obviously afford to pay. While I don’t know her personally, my heart goes out to her. She gave my husband a very nice tip when he drove her in a limousine years ago.
Yes, they have a right to ban her from the mall but let’s not forget all the good she has done throughout the years, by one instance of bad judgment.
Everyone has made mistakes and we all learn from them.
Sometimes people just steal stuff because they don’t want to pay for it, even though they can. There doesn’t have to be a pathology behind it.
OMG. For reals. That’s crazy. Lady has more money then any of us. What was the fricken point, really? Greed man, just plan greed.
67 comments elsewhere in the pages of this august newspaper…67! Comments about some apparent impulse-control problem and not so many (not even close) comments about anything else…What’s wrong?
Why are we supposed to feel sorry for her and bashing the police? She committed a crime and is a local celebrity…of course they’re going to report it. If my children steal, they will be arrested and tried for their crimes. Why should she be any different?
26 years with KVOA, thrown away for a few items she could have easily paid for or charged. Makes one wonder how many items has she stolen in the past and gotten away with. It’s not like stealing is something, someone takes up spontaniously. Sounds like a well rehearsed activity. I am glad she got caught, because most people think of shop-lifters as poor or minority and this just goes to show that this crime, involves all elements of society.
I gave Martha the benefit of the doubt and maybe just maybe there is more to it, but at this point it looks like she knowingly broke the law and took something that was not hers and that is wrong. So so disturbing, but I still think we shouldn’t judge until we know the facts.
for now I will go eat some crow and humble pie.
Near as I can remember Martha has been a solid member of the community for over thirty years.
I can’t believe the lack of empathy shown in the preceding remarks.
Obviously Martha has problems and needs help because this behavior is way off the grid for Ms. Vazquez. I sincerely hope she does well in the future and her friends rally around her.
Who would’ve thought Martha is an adrenaline junkie. Sorry Martha on the fail but you should have gone bunjee jumping or something. Gonna miss you.
Martha’s always seemed pretty cool, and once Patty Weiss retired she sort of became the face of local news. It’d be nice for there to be a cooling off period and then get her back on the air. One misdemeanor shouldn’t mean a person has to lose their job.
My face when :
Local people gasp in horror as local anchor is caught stealing, outrage
No response or outrage at the theft, corruption imposed upon our government by corporate interest
ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
Damn, Martha, what were you thinking? Or not thinking. You’re a good kid, don’t walk down that road.
But I forgive you (for what it’s worth, i.e., easy for me to say). Now do the time and promise you’ll think twice and don’t pull this crap no more.
I think that is a little harsh…forcing her to resign. A pretty small mistake. Had she ridden the bus, she would discover that the regular shoplifters…who are caught, cited, and let go repeatedly by police, don’t hit up Dillard’s because they have better security. They hit up Macy’s because the security is lax, and make off with $3000 in baubles. When they do get caught, they act outraged because “that time” they weren’t actually stealing. Seriously, the things you find out riding Suntran (and you get to view their police citations too).
I feel for Martha. I hope she gets hired back. Sounds like she has some personal issues to work through, but it shouldn’t cost her her job.
Wonder why ADS deleted their online comments on both Martha articles? Their applet shows there were tons of them, but when you click on the article, comment section is missing.
GREEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am going to miss her. David Yetman recovered…she will, too.
Ok first note, whomever that officer was, he needs to be retrained in Professional English writing. I have wrote many professional reports in my time, and this guy takes the cake. Really – Still = Steal??? How can that be. Just saying! I have no love lost for those who do steal, however, I will miss her on the news, she has been a big part of the Tucson Community. So, there is no need to bash her any further, then what was covered in the few sentences listed above.
I guess KVOA didn’t provide a clothing allowance? Cheap bastards.
Say it ain’t so…
After all these years, we still love you, Martha
Hey, grammar queen Elaine Malott (Above):
1) First sentence: Should be “WHOEVER that officer was…”
2) Second sentence: Should be “I have WRITTEN…”
3) Last sentence: Should be “THAN was covered…”
You see if that was someone else they would NAIL them. personal problems that brought this on? She is married to a Doctor. She can’t be hurting that bad for money. All of you that feel sorry for her ? What if that was your family or friend? Double standard as usual.
i still wonder what people do what they dough. Can anybody hear me??????????
All you bleeding hearts wanting to go easy on her would act differently if she stole from YOU INSTEAD
……and YES, when you’re in the public eye you are held to a higher standard and expected to behave accordingly.
Join the unemployment line Martha, better luck to you.
The whole thing is just very strange. My mother read the article in the AZ Daily Star to me over the phone this afternoon (I live in IL), and we were both flabbergasted. The way the article was written, we weren’t sure if this might not have been a case of identity theft, but if she was filmed by security cameras, no way. As someone upstream posted, it makes you wonder if she has done this before and gotten away with it. I do hope she gets some professional counseling for her problem, whatever precipitated this.
She should have known better, I’m sure newscasters make a very good income and with all her years. I’m glad she is gone, she was not an attractive person to be on the news!
WOW!! I am totally torn… on one hand; she was/is a dominate figure in the community, and we should support her and hope and pray she gets help and whatever… then on the other hand, WOW! she did THAT?! just because she is a celebrity she shouldn’t get special treatment. ‘She did the crime, she should do the time’…. I didn’t realize how much impact someone like Martha would have on our household, then something like this happens… I do pray for her, and hope to see her on t.v. again…
I am deeply saddened by both the lack of empathy and the outright ignorance. A person who shoplifts when they are able to pay is NOT always an “adrenaline junkie”.
Ms. Vasquez has proven herself for many years to be a kind, intelligent, generous and caring person, deeply committed to her community and her profession.
She deserves at least the respect of pausing before appointing ourselves judge, jury and god – how many of us have never ever transgressed? How many of us have never had a loved one in trouble? Have a heart, today of all days!
Here is a link with some information for those who like to consider before throwing those stones:
http://www.shopliftingprevention.org/WhatN…
Just because people feel empathy for her does not mean she is getting special treatment. She had to step down (whether it be her doing or KVOA enacting her morality clause) from a job she built up from nothing. Losing your life’s work in a single instant is punishment in and of itself… Not to mention that no one in law enforcement or the media is trying to hide what happened.
I wonder what possessed her to knock over *Dillard’s* of all godawful places? And for a crappy Eileen Fisher jacket? And cheesy Kenneth Cole earrings? I thought Martha had *much* better taste than that! She must not be herself these days.
Did C. George poop his pants for real? Poor thing, I did notice that he seemed rather bloated and sometimes his face would appear kind of flushed–it never occurred to me that he might be having a movement…
no comment from KVOA there job is to report the news this station is one sided and watch there rateings fall as far as the story who cares she has always been self centered
If she was WHITE, the brown community would be outraged, remember
Why isn’t this being covered by the TV news in Tucson? This is certainly bigger than a lot of other stories I’ve seen on TV.
None of the news channels covered this story (KOLD, FOX, KVOA)… even for the 10pm broadcast. Biased are we?
Im sorry but isnt right is right and wrong is wrong? She did it, shes an adult. No free pass bc who she is. If any regular person shop lifited would we get a a free pass? NO!
If this would have been Lindsey Lohan that had been caught shop lifting at the tucson (caca) mall most of you Idiots would be running to get her autograph.
Your only as good as your last good deed. I don’t give a care if i spelled right. I graduated from community college in four years time. If you didn’t know I have a learning disorder you would be quick to judge me as well. If I had to show up for work everyday and put my personnal buisness on the 4,5, or 6 o’clock news I’d be screwed up too. If you think it’s so easy, go there and see if their hiring cowards. Leave Chuck alone and leave the other news stations alone and worry about raising your children.
Occupy Tucson – get over to KVOA. It must be racism.
If not racism, certainly a 1% caught!
I love Elaine Malott’s comments- hahaha! Great english there- hopefully you didn’t get paid for the reports you “wroted”. Geez
Just a damn minute people. She has been charged with shoplifting, not convicted of shoplifting. Most of the comments I have read here are taking for granted that she is guilty. She may be guilty, but be aware that you may have been sucked into a swirling vortex of gossip, where the ‘yet to be determined’ becomes the truth. I often appreciate the Weekly’s exposure of what’s going on behind the scene in news stories, but I also read them with the same critical eye I have developed for the mainstream media.
@ Cher: you think this is “a small mistake” really. omg.
So when does small become a big mistake..and so when do you actually lose your job for this mistakes. DUI? Murder? Come on..this is just a new article. Newspapers do that..they report the news!
The woman SHOPLIFTED, and people are concerned about the SPELLING on the police report? WOW! I was particularly amused by the comments by one Elaine Malott. She says she has WROTE many professional reports….. WROTE? Really? And WHOMEVER the officer was instead of WHOEVER? After several sentences run together with only commas, she laments that “she (Maria, I assume) shouldn’t be bashed any more THEN(?) what was already covered.” Stunning lack of matching subject and verb. Any English writing instructor reading that paragraph must be shaking her/his head in amazement!
How old do you have to be before you realize stealing is wrong? 5, 10, 45? Sorry Martha, what the hell were you thinking?
Often times when one does something like this, it was preceded by a stressfull incident such as a death, an illness, a divorce. I’m sure she’ll be going to counseling for this. Dont throw rocks at glass houses people. This could have happened to any of us or a family member.
I could understand Dillard’s not wanting her back but Park Place and Tucson Mall? That’s too far.
I will be honest, i would not want to return to Dillard’s. I wish her the best.
ehehehe……Welcolme to Fantasy Island…………Her fantasy is a free jacket…and earrings ……………………ZE’ SHAME ZE’ SHAME!!!!!! Dr. If
Give her a break! She probably just got bored and did something impulsive. It shouldn’t have cost her a job she worked 30 years for.
As the old saying goes, whoever among us are sin free throw the first stone. Most of you who are quick to condem her have most likely commited some type of wrong yourself. I am not saying she should get away with it , God knows she has paid a thousand times for her actions that day by loosing her job and her career with the station. She needs to figure out why.. and get help and move on , she can get past this and in general I think citizens of this country are forgiving as long as they know you are truly sorry and trying to fix the problem. Martha get the help you need and come back to us!
Over re-action. 4 days ago and everyone noticed that she was gone. They will find another talking head.
It is always a wonderful thing when a thief gets caught.
That jacket and earrings would be lovely accessories for an orange jumpsuit.
Well it is news and people has the right to know.sad though you would jepordize a career for 338$ ,but s… happens to Everyone , sorry about misspelled words , applying for the police dept.c u at the mall.
Look, I have stolen over 600 cassette tapes, approximately..600 cartons of cigarettes..
and over 60 bottles of cologne from Nordstroms, and even returned it for cash…I was caught shoplifting colognes from Nordstroms @ the Fashion Place Mall (Utah)….
Don’t ever mess with Dillard!!! (formerly Nordstroms/formerly Weinstock) They will get you..
THEY GOT YOU, Martha…
‘ NEVER SHOPLIFT PAST 1985…….You will NOT getaway…There is NO hope…Don’t pull a “Martha”
P.S. Next time, use a dressing room.
Idiot.
Sincerely, Dr. If
Cops are idiots… all of them… this police report proves it. I would rather dial .357, these guys are jokes and all they do is make life harder for people. Serve and protect my a$$. As for Martha…she made a decision that was poor, but like everyone we all make mistakes and we should understand the facts and give her a second chance. Im sure she is learning her lesson and trust me the system will get thier way… have some compassion and understanding. She has done a lot for the community and she is great at her job… one situation doesnt define any of us.
Elaine Malott: You’re tossing stones from a glass house when you write, “Ok first note, whomever that officer was, he needs to be retrained in Professional English writing.”
You don’t use “whomever” as a subject, only as an object.
On a brighter note, she’ll have plenty of time to stay home and watch Savannah Guthrie interview senators and national celebrities.
I enjoy reading the comments. Most of the posts got it right. The rest who were quick to defend MV must have shoplifted before… and it seems that some should have shoplifted a dictionary instead.
Typical Thief! Oh well, what ya gonna do?
Years ago I saw Mrs. Stewart at Bally’s Total Fitness working out! Everyone around her recognized her. She was nice and friendly to everyone! It made me realize: Wow this is just an ordinary person like us! It just so happened to be that she worked for the news so she was well known! She is only human. Yes, it is absolutely wrong to shoplift since it costs us all in the long run! I just hope she lives and learns from this. I am sure she now regrets it since she lost her job! 🙁
Back in the eary ’80’s, at another local tv station, Martha was a co-anchor of a newsmagazine type show, which she resigned from due to an out-of-wedlock pregnancy. She did an interview with a reporter from one of the daily papers explaining her decision, I think it was with the morning paper. At least she didn’t get a police write-up for that one.
The majority of the time, when someone with a history of integrity and service to their community who can easily afford to pay for an item, ends up shoplifting it, the act is clearly not an act of greed or the result of being an “adrenaline junkie” out for a thrill. It is far more likely the result or symptom of some kind of emotional or mental situation they cannot get a grasp of, and the illicit act becomes either soothing or a desperate cry for help.
Not only was Martha not expecting or receiving ‘special’ treatment after being arrested because of her fame/prestige in the community, but rather her situation has been spread across social and print media and sensationalized because of those very things. She has been judged and found guilty and her reputation smeared due to one, non-violent act that may be a symptom of a problem that is not in any way linked directly to character or morality. And she has received that attention when an everyday, non-famous person who committed the same act would NEVER have been vilified to that degree across the community.
You all need to get down off your sanctimonious, small-minded ‘high-horses’ and give the entire story time to emerge. Your phony so-called ‘morality’ and indignation just serve to make you look like a bunch of hypocritical asses.
Joan Bell, you are assuming the best-case scenario in terms of how the shoplifting incident relates to Vasquez’s character. Yet you provide no evidence that “the majority of the time” such theft is symptomatic of a clinical psychological problem. You also do not seem to realize that for Vasquez this was not a one-time incident. Multiple sources have stated that managers at Dillards were aware of past shoplifting by Vasquez but were unable to catch her. On this occasion, somebody spotted Vasquez as she entered the store and then made sure she was watched by security. If you are truly honest with yourself, you will have to admit that not everybody who shoplifts is doing so because it’s a “cry for help.” Some people simply feel entitled to take whatever they want — and the make a conscious choice to do so. People like Vasquez are fully capable of saying “no” to their worst instincts. There is a decision there, just as there is a decision that precedes any criminal activity (would you also say an armed robber suffered from a compulsive disorder, and should therefore be treated as an innocent?). In Vasquez’s case the crime is made more questionable by her relative wealth because she possessed all the resources to seek therapeutic treatment and deal with her compulsions head-on before they got the best of her. The evidence suggests she did not.
I never did see a report on any of the news stations! I had to find out on the internet. Very disappointing!!!
Simon,
It is not unusual to first consider a “best case scenario” when analyzing a situation involving a person with a good reputation and long history of ‘giving back’ to a community. I did not present any “…evidence” to support my opinion that “the majority of the time” such theft is symptomatic of a clinical psychological problem, because I was expressing my opinion (based on widely published research) and not presenting a case in a legal arena where such substantiation is required.
You stated that “…for Vasquez this was not a one-time incident. Multiple sources have stated that managers at Dillards were aware of past shoplifting by Vasquez but were unable to catch her.” That is an unproven, unsubstantiated accusation, and nothing but ‘hearsay’.
You also wrote that “…you will have to admit that not everybody who shoplifts is doing so because it’s a “cry for help.” At no point in my post on this thread did I ever state or imply that “…everybody who shoplifts is doing so because it’s a “cry for help.”
You said that people like Martha are fully capable of saying ‘no’ to their worst instincts.’, but even the law believes that some people with obsessive/compulsive or impulse control disorders or other forms of mental illness may NOT have the ability or capability to say ‘no’ to their worst instincts. You asked if I would say that “…an armed robber suffered from a compulsive disorder, and should therefore be treated as an innocent” – I would not say that in the majority of situations, but fortunately, our legal system recognizes that there are times when someone commits a crime because they are mentally ill and incapable of making correct or acceptable decisions.
You then stated that “In Vasquez’s case the crime is made more questionable by her relative wealth because she possessed all the resources to seek therapeutic treatment and deal with her compulsions head-on before they got the best of her. The evidence suggests she did not.” That assertion is to assume that all people who are mentally or emotionally ill realize that they need help, but evidence suggests that most do not realize it without being confronted about their actions in some manner. It was also a highly prejudicial statement showing bias against people with advantageous financial resources -implying that their access to therapy somehow makes them ‘more’ guilty or accountable for their actions that those with less money.
To the best of my knowledge, nothing exists to substantiate your statement that she did not seek therapeutic treatment to deal with her compulsions. How could you know that? Unfortunately, therapy is not a quick or even guaranteed ‘fix’, so she may very well have been in treatment but had not reached a point where it was helping curb whatever was driving her to shoplift.
Sadly, all too often these postings are judgmental and mean-spirited diatribes against people who have fallen from grace. I suggest that those who feel like finger-pointing first take an inventory of their own behaviors before they feel ‘compelled’ to hurl accusations at or to condemn others who have not even had a chance to defend themselves in court.
Crazy people do crazy things. Having said that, it’s a crazy world.
Imagine if your job was to express the sins of the world with a smile on a daily basis..
You wake up every day to face stories of hate and death and war, but are forced to smile for the cameras while you share the saddness to a community.
Where’s the Empathy for her? When is it her turn to be human?
” he who is with out sin, let him cast the first stone.”
go text somone using your i-phone made using slave labor in china!
wake up people! you’re hungry to see someone crusified for your silent sin.
deal with your own demons before you judge others..
I forgive her, and would envite her into my humble home to celebrate being human.
I was a lost prevention officer in Tucson at a major department store for three years and it doesn’t make any difference how much money you have or if your young or old, some people steal just for the thrill of getting away with it. I’m so tired of you people out there who feel sorry for the shoplifters who cause products to go up in price which we all pay for in the end. There’s no reason to steal anything if you have the money to pay for it.
plus, its a crime remember?? It only makes sense to prohibit that person from going back in the same store for life.Yes we all make mistakes but when your in the public eye and you have money theres no excuse for that action. so I don’t feel sorry she lost her job. Some people who feel sorry just because she was on tv and feel she should get her job back are the ones who are clueless in life.
And KVOA continues its downward swirlie into hiring newspeople that are anonymous and rarely stay more than two years before moving on. I like a little consistency in news reporting rather than watching the kid just graduated from college.
I have known her for many years, she even attended my wedding.. on Halloween long ago.. Yes I worked for her, this coverage is terrible..
The thought of not seeing her on TV at 4 or in the many events she hosted is horrible. Lets get the facts, this should not have cost her a job, give her a day in court just like anyone that has a run in with legal issues. I can’t believe some of this I’ve read, she’s not this person. KVOA YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR OR ACCEPTED ANY RESIGNATION.
I will post this on Facebook, and if this paper gives my data out unlike and block it fast!
Love reading blogs written by Libs for other progressives and when one of them go bad they can’t make enough excuses for them but if a conservative screwed up…Oh the indignation!!!!!!!!
HER ATTENTIONS WERE TOO WALK INTO DILLARDS TOO STEAL,, GUILTY. GUILTY.. GUILTY.. NO ONE SHOULD GET SPECIAL TREATMENT JUST CUZ SHE IS A NEWS REPORTER.. EVERY ONE ELSE HAS TOO WORK FOR WHAT WE NEED IN LIFE. !!!! SUCK IT UP MARTHA AND NOW PAY FOR THE MISTAKE YOU HAVE BROUGHT YOURSELF INTO….
She doesn’t need to be penalized in any way because the press is doing this with their publicity. Isn’t this going too far?
The lady’s husband is a freaking gazillionaire doctor/heart specialist. She is obviously not getting something from home, cause the money is there. Maybe she wanted to get caught. Think about it. Tucson is not exactly some huge city. When she walks in the store she is recognized by employees and customers. To think she could “blend in” especially when doing an “activity” like this is just senseless. Maybe now she can go to the gym( she goes alot but just talks and gabs with her friends rather than workout) and flirt with the young guys and be a cougar-town mamma!
She conceals it under her sweater, and “forgot” to buy it? Amazing how some people will swallow any alibi on this blog, just because they saw the skank on TV. So what if she’s a television personality or radio or what not, she’s just another psychopathic kleptomaniac in a steal’n run culture. It doesn’t matter if she’s got the money because wealthier people are often more likely to rip off a business just on entitlement atittudes alone, especially if related to doctors, who are divas and terrible tippers. Ever hear of Winona Ryder? Or how about the millions stolen in the Rio Nuevo project?
