Jonathan Paton recently addressed the rather sparse, yet still enthusiastic crowd that still remains at the GOP gathering at the Sheraton. Though not considering himself the winner over Ann Kirkpatrick for Congressional District 1, he did make sure to let those on hand know his focus when in office will be on curbing President Obama’s spending.
“In Congress we can either have a rubber stamp or we can have a check and balance,” Paton said. “We are at a point in this country where we’re leaving every child in this country $50,000 in debt. This Congress has an 11 percent approval rating, and that’s because they’ve been a rubber stamp. We’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen again.”

Jonathan, Jonathan. It’s too bad that the real candidate didn’t have the resources to win this election: Wenona Benally Baldenegro. Paton: You are a hack, man. Kirkpatrick is just as much a hack. Ugh!!
