This has been going on for a while now, but it’s still worth noting: Something Sweet Dessert Lounge at 5319 E. Speedway Blvd. now serves lunch, and there’s even deviled eggs!
Long a desserts-only destination, Something Sweet spread its wings with offerings other than desserts after it’s near-death experience last year and has been trucking along ever since. In my book, the fact that they stayed open was the feel-good food story of 2011 and I feel very fortunate that Something Sweet ended up sticking around.

I was at Something Sweet last night. It is a great place to go after a play, a movie, or anything else. Good deserts, nice staff and a good crowd.
