I can’t listen to this clip from Wednesday’s KFMA morning show because it’s still too painful, but if you’d like to hear evidence of my mistreatment at the hands of a Five Finger Death Punch fan, this is your opportunity.

  2. That was an astonishingly dull exchange, especially when you consider that one party was trying to apply a standard radio formula to try to get a rise out of the other. This is why KFMA is nothing short of a monstrously dull radio station, playing average, ordinary music and pretending to be on some kind of cutting edge. Stuff like this shows that they’re trying to be “edgy” even when talking, but it’s all just the usual sameness. What Tucson needs is for Radio Limbo to return!!!

  4. Fook is a douche with a .05 share. Not to mention A) Nirvana is not new, B) Dominos does suck, C) Pizza is not italian food, D) KFMA is lame.

    Sadly, the second flamer is right. Its a pretty dull conversation. My bad. I take all the responsibility for that. What I wanted to say could be summed up as this:”Alt Bloggers: Stop being snarky for the sake of being snarky.” Thats what putting new rock in quotes is. Hey, well informed person who has been alive for more than a week, its the name of a format of a mainstream radio station. All of you know exactly what it is without you having to take it literally, which is the point.

    I think Dan is a clever and interesting blogger with a good sense of humor. That why I asked him to be on my show in the first place. Dan, please don’t be the Alt Blogger cliche… you’re better than that. Leave the quotes where they belong… On actual quotes. That being said said, I look forward to our discussion next week. ( You beautiful snarky bastard.)

    And for those of you who think I’m vicious… eh, sometimes. Mostly I’m pretty evenhanded, and invite you to listen to the show 6a-10a http://www.kfma.com. I am awfully sarcastic tho, and won’t stop being so… except if you ask really really really really super nice.

  7. Well no Fook I’ve been alive for a heck of a lot longer than a week and I never knew until now that “new rock” is a genre of music. I’ve often made fun of KFMA for saying they play “new rock” and then playing something that I’m likely to hear at my 20 year high school reunion this spring. I listen to KFMA because I enjoy the music that is played on the station but I sure don’t enjoy being called uninformed by a morning show mouth piece. Who decided people want chatter in the morning any way? Why can’t radio stations play music? While we’re on it why can’t MTV play music videos?
