The latest City of Tucson election results:
Republican Steve Kozachik now leads Democrat Nina Trasoff by 1,722 votes. The Black Swan looks unbeatable!
Democratic Councilwoman Karin Uhlich now leads Republican challenger Ben Bueher-Garcia by 240 votes. That race keeps getting closer and closer.
Prop 400 is now losing by 784 votes.

How many additional votes were counted and how many are left to go? Given that turnout was higher on the east-side, trended anti-incumbent, not to mention Republicans don’t like mailing their ballots in, this one could close within 100 either way.
Perhaps someday we’ll learn the secret purpose of Prop 200…
Originally intended to bring out the law-and-order vote and ultimately successful in bringing out the no-new-tax vote? Either one bad for the incumbents?
“ORIGINALLY intended…”
wtf?
Prop 200 was a you betcha thing…
you betcha!
😉
Well…you know what they say about getting the government you deserve….
Alternately…the trouble with politics is that, ultimately, the government always gets in.
