Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, a former congresswoman and state lawmaker, is launching her first TV ad in her campaign to return to Congress in Arizona’s new Congressional District 1, a sprawling district that includes Oro Valley, Marana, Flagstaff, the northern trial reservation and much of eastern rural Arizona.

Kirkpatrick is facing Republican Jonathan Paton, a former state lawmaker who is making his second run at a congressional seat. The race promises to the be the most competitive congressional race in Southern Arizona.

  1. Be very carefull drinking her Koolaid. After all, when asked about her votes at a town hall she initiated in Holbrook, she refused to answer the questions and walked out. She is not worthy of going back to Washington. She thinks she is above reproach.
