Want to make sure your children eat health while school is out? Not to worry, school districts are offering free breakfast and lunch all summer long for kids 18 and under.
Meals are served in school site cafeterias or in designated eating areas for the non-school sites.

The Summer Food Service Program for Children is a federally funded program operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, with locations across the nation. 

Participating in the program are Amphitheater, Sunnyside, Flowing Wells, Marana and Tucson Unified school districts. 

Amphitheater will be serving meals Thursday, May 26 through Thursday, June 23. For more information on specific locations and time check out their website

Sunnyside will be serving meals from Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, July 22. For more information call 545-2073. 

Flowing Wells will be serving meals from Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday. July 28. For more information call 696-8622. 

Marana will be serving meals from Monday, May 23 through Friday, July 29. For more is available here. 

Tucson Unified will be serving meals Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, July 15. See their

Want to enjoy breakfast or lunch with your kids? Tucson Unified Schools are also offering adults accompanying children the option to eat breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3.

  1. Have they announced where the kids can get meals on the weekends? Why can’t they just deliver it to the homes and let them have some extra in case friends come over?

  2. What better way for the socialists/communists of Tucson to indoctrinate ‘their’ children to the life of government dependency.

    Now, especially in Tucson, there is no need for American citizens to procreate. We have all the growth we need with the flood of illegals looking to feed at the trough of the taxpayer.
