Corey Rangel, a reporter for ABC-15 in Phoenix, was at Sky Harbor Airport and ran into Sarah Palin, who is taking a break from giving impromptu history lessons on her buscapade and retreating to her new Scottsdale estate. He asked her if she was planning on running for retiring U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl’s seat:
She didn’t answer the question about running for President, but did talk about a run for Arizona Senate.
“That’s not, that’s not what my plan is, no. Haven’t really considered that at all but thanks for asking…you have some great senators here though, I appreciate both of them,” said Palin.
This comes as no big surprise to The Range. Being in the Senate would be a big pay cut and a lot more work than occasionally writing Facebook posts and criticizing Obama on Fox News. Besides, her eye is on a bigger prize: The White House. Why else do you take a “family vacation” around the East Coast in a bus emblazoned with your name? (BTW: Have you ever heard of anyone flying across the country to take a vacation from their vacation?)
Piper seemed pretty impatient with her mom’s interview with Rangel, but at least she didn’t bodycheck him, as she did this Philadelphia reporter:

Sarah has ‘no plans’….but a lot of ulterior motives.
If she can get attention, negative or positive, from firing off one-liners which will enhance her media moments, why would she settle down to do a job that requires thought, continued action, and contemplation? She already showed us that she won’t do that! But it is fun to be talked about! And remunerative!
When does that poor Piper child ever get to go to actual school?
Did you hear her history of Paul Reverse’s ride. I grew up around Boston and nothing she said is true. Paul Revere snuck out of Boston to avoid the redcoats. No gunfire or bells as she stated. The riders, perhaps a dozen were going to Lexington to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that the British were coming and they would be arrested. Palin said they were going to warn the British. ..NOT..!! Wrong Side. From Lexington, Revere, Dawes and Pescott were riding to Concord when they encountered British Troops and scattered in different directions. One of them made it to Concord to save two cannons which Dawes had earlier smuggled out of Boston. She must have got her facts from ‘Sarah Palins’ encyclopedia of misinformation’ where history is what she wants it to be. She should go home and keep watching the Russians from her front porch. As I always say “The woman is an idiot!!”
