This story doesn’t make sense…there’s something going here
The first report I read (Tacoma _News-Tribune_ at newstribune.com) stated the chopper was heading from Marana to Douglas, yet the AP reports posted at the _Houston Chronicle_ (chron.com) and the _Austin American-Statesman_ (statesman.com) indicate the chopper was going from UMC to Douglas. Do medical choppers usually loop northwest (to avoid incoming units, to mitigate noise over neighborhoods) before heading to points south and/or east? Word is the pilot managed to avoid hitting a house, so good on her/him.
