Tap & Bottle will mark New Year’s Eve with a full day of events across its Tucson locations, offering celebrations designed for families, early birds and late-night crowds alike.
The festivities begin at Tap & Bottle North, located at Ina and Oracle Roads, with a daytime New Year’s Eve celebration geared toward families. Doors open at 11 a.m. for kids karaoke, followed by a balloon drop at noon. The event also includes face painting and temporary tattoos. The daytime celebration has become an annual tradition for the North location, drawing families looking for a relaxed, kid-friendly way to mark the holiday.
Later in the day, Westbound, Tap & Bottle’s downtown beer garden, will host karaoke beginning at 5 p.m., led by longtime karaoke host Uncle Dill. The evening includes a complimentary bubbles toast at 9 p.m., offering an early countdown option for guests who prefer to celebrate before midnight.
At Tap & Bottle Downtown, live music will take center stage with a performance by Saguaroville from 8 to 10 p.m., followed by an early New Year’s toast at 10 p.m. The Downtown celebration coincides with events at Sunshine Wine, Tap & Bottle’s neighboring wine bar. Sunshine Wine will be open throughout the evening, featuring specialty menu items, with DJ Carl Hanni spinning records on the patio from 5 to 9 p.m. Details on the specialty menu will be announced through Sunshine Wine’s social media channels.
Tap & Bottle co-owner Rebecca Safford said the goal of the New Year’s Eve programming is to offer accessible, welcoming events that allow guests to build traditions year after year.
“A lot of people who come to our New Year’s events have been doing it for years,” Safford said. “We want to create spaces where people can make memories and feel like this is where they want to ring in the new year.”
All New Year’s Eve events at Tap & Bottle are open to the public and do not require tickets. Additional details and updates are available at thetapandbottle.com/events and through Tap & Bottle’s social media channels.
