Marvel is on a roll with these superhero films. Guardians of the Galaxy has made $222,661,385. USA TODAY released the first glimpse of Paul Rudd as one of the founding Avengers members, Ant Man.
I, for one, hope the film is better than the comics. I don’t think anyone can honestly point out a “good” Ant Man story that doesn’t involve cooler Marvel characters. With all due respect, Iron Man was in that same boat. But he could fly and blow stuff up. Ant Man can hardly anything like that.

Yep, that’s Paul Rudd, alright. Good catch USA Today!
Looks like he’s in San Francisco…kind of got that “van down by the river” feel to it. Although, technically, it’s the ocean, not a river. I wonder if that brings things up?
Maybe they’ll get to release a photo with him actually in a costume or something?
Ant Man typically got around by flying on a winged ant. The one truly awesome adventure I remember seeing for Ant-Man, back in the day, was when he went inside the Vision (an android member of the Avengers who could control his density) to figure out what was wrong with him when he malfunctioned, and none of the standard methods of diagnosing the problem worked. It was quite psychedelic. Otherwise, I was more interested in Henry Pym when he was doing his “Giant Man” and “Yellow Jacket” identities.
