Oh, Jeff Flake. Things just keep looking bad for you.
According to Behavior Research Center’s Rocky Mountain Poll, first-term Senator Jeff Flake’s polling numbers are doing rather poorly, which is rare for a freshman in Congress, as first-timers typically enjoy a honeymoon period with their constituents during their first term.
In Senator Flake’s case, however, only 18 percent are willing to rate his performance favorably while a surprising 26 percent already opine that he is doing a “poor” or “very poor job”.
By way of comparison, retired Jon Kyl’s first job ratings as a U.S. Senator in 1996 were almost a mirror opposite of Senator Jeff Flake: 34 percent positive to only 12 percent negative. The current poll was completed just before Senator Flake parted company with the senior Senator from Arizona, John McCain, by voting against background checks for gun buyers which implies that Senator Flake’s negative rating at the time of this survey may trace to others issues.
This piles on release from Public Policy Polling we covered earlier this week, which noted that Flake’s numbers took a dive in the wake of the vote on background checks for firearm sales.

Flake is a terrible senator.
It ain’t easy to get lower ratings than TX(R) Ted Cruz…this Flake is shaping up to be another John McCain…

Those who make the hard decisions are seldom popular, but we need people of courage and vision who are willing to do what is right and not just what is popular. I support Jeff and thank him for doing the work we sent him to Washington to do.
His problem is on every issue he is anti-child- education, health care, pre-school care, crime, safety — every position he comes down against the children of our nation and for the corporation citizens.
Yep, he should never have teamed up with McCain on this stupid immigration reform thing. What we need is enforcement, not pandering.
Lets see he is an idiot….and voting against gun background checks was immoral, irresponsible and reprehensible….we need a Senator NOT a mouthpiece for the NRA
I suggest that since gun buybacks no longer destroy guns, take all your unwanted guns and drop them off at Flake’s office. They’ll tell you you can’t leave it there, but you should just set it down and walk away. I would love to see this happen over and over again.
Jeff Flake as a congressman will be no different than Jeff flake as a Senator..
Jeff Flake follows the MONEY…. Az. Chamber of Commerece is for Cheap Illegal Labor ,, than Flake is for Cheap Illegal Labor.. The NRA gives Flake A,, AAA rating and some coin, than jeff Flake will be for NO GUN BUYER BACK GROUND CHECKS…
The Republican Lever Pullers put Flake in office ,just like they keep putting Johnny Mcpain back in office even though he votes just the opposite way he said he would vote …
Ted Cruz may have a Unfavorable rating here in Tustoned Az. However in TEXAS he has a 97 percent favorable rating…
The only politicans that Make Tustonedans happy, are those that promise um more weed and seed and a nice fat State disability check or cheap illlllegal labor…..
To THE LOGICAL THINKER,
I would love those UNWANTED guns… Would be glad to pick um up from Flakes AZ office..
Nothing in the LAW says Flake or his staff cannot except those unwanted guns or pick um up and sell um as long as they are in “Az.”””……………..
FYI ——— It is a Felony to Drop um office at Flakes DC office .. Felony to transport to DC for the purpose of leaving um in DC…
@logicalthinker: And then after he sells them, make sure flake gets busted for dealing arms without a license!
