Hey, TW blog fans! Tell all your political-junkie friends and neighbors to log in to this very blog tonight and tomorrow for the latest election coverage. We’ll have links to results. We’ll be posting results. Jim Nintzel and Saxon Burns will be at various candidate headquarters, getting reaction, news, etc. And I’ll be here making bitchy comments as I post it all. AIN’T DEMOCRACY SPIFFY?!?
And, as always, the comments section will be open for y’all, to give the world your tidbits and two cents. Not that very many of you will take advantage of this splendid forum, you passive weenie readers. Thppppth.

I’ll kick things off. I can’t believe, that with all the potential candidates out there, that the best CD8 has to offer are Giffords and Weiss. One, “you should vote for me because it’s my turn,” candidate, and a newcaster, who as far as I know, has never, not once, used her pulpit to take a stand on any issue of importance. I’ll guess I’ll vote for Latas. The state of the race however, says a lot about the status of the Democratic Party in this state.
Thanks, Rob. Without commenting on the quality of the candidates, I will say it’s tough to run for office these days. Between the silly amounts of money you need, the fact that your personal life’s open for extreme scrunity, and the fact that negative campaigning’s so en vogue, a lot of really good people decline to run for office.
