Clínica Amistad, Southern Arizona’s leading free integrative health center, will host its 11th Annual Gala on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the El Conquistador Hilton – A Tucson Resort.
The event, themed “Healthcare Is a Right, not a Privilege,” aims to raise $150,000 to sustain no-cost medical care for Tucson’s uninsured residents.
“Every day in our waiting room, we witness the human cost of healthcare inequity, but also the transformative power of community support,” said Nicole Glasner, executive director of Clínica Amistad. “While this gala funds our essential clinic operations, we’re thrilled that this year’s support will also launch a dedicated women’s health program and expand our services with an additional day of care each week. For over two decades, our clinic has been a lifeline, and with the community’s support, we can continue to grow to meet our patients’ most critical needs.”
The evening will honor those who embody the clinic’s mission. The Promotoras de Salud will receive the Community Impact Award for their frontline work, and SimonMed Imaging will be recognized with the Community Partner Award for sustained support. Sponsors include Southwest Gas and DelSol Research Management.
Founded in 2003, Clínica Amistad has served as a safety net for 23 years, providing free primary care, preventive services, and holistic health education. In the last year alone, the clinic served 1,800 patients through more than 2,300 appointments, despite being open just nine days a month. With 131 new patients seeking care in the last quarter, the need continues to grow.
Guests will enjoy an evening of compassion and celebration, beginning with a hosted cocktail hour and silent auction. The program will feature a gourmet dinner, patient stories, a live auction by Call to Auction, and the return of the popular wine pull. The celebration concludes with live music and dancing featuring Gigi and the Glow.
