this is the basic flaw in anti-gun liberalism. liberals want gun free zones to proudly support their anti-gun position. until their is tough gun control legislation or repeal of 2nd amendment this makes no sense. it infuriates anti-gun liberals when people pull out their guns and shoot the terrorists and would prefer they not have guns even if more people die. nice try claytoon but it doesn’t work. what would work when their is a mass shooting (especially school shootings) arrest n.r.a. leadership and pro-gun politicians for accessary to murder and also sue them civilly. repeal gun maker protection act. sorry bernie your only negative as you represent vermont.
It seems as though some ‘people’ would have prefered the slaughter of several more church goers by the terroist to fit their gun control agenda, than to have three citizens come to the rescue with firearms, and kill the assaliant, that targeted of what he believed was a soft target. Exactly! And the killer was a Tucson resident from 1998-2014. He qualified under Clinton for three strikes incarceration and was still walking the streets. Maybe we need to identify just who allows this and why killers flourish. Is there an even bigger agenda?

It is not the “good guy with a gun” that is the problem, it is the toxic gun culture that rationalizes the “good guy with a gun”. Because if people like you could see beyond this absurdity, you would realize that more guns, no matter in whose hands, did not make places like Somalia and Beirut more peaceful. Or Mexico with its strict gun laws. We as a nation value blame over solutions, and expediency over real change. And the result? “More guns!”, and blame the “far left agenda” more than the actual terrorists…you know, the “right agenda”. No matter who you are, and no matter what your views may be, expressing yourself without using the most basic rules of grammar is enough to discredit anything you have to say. If you want for your opinions to be taken seriously, consider using capitalization in your sentences. It demonstrates that you care enough about your subject matter to construct serious, readable sentences. If you don’t care, why should the reader?
You can’t argue the fact that 50 would have died if the good guys didn’t have guns. Criminal actions will not subvert the USC. Accept the fact that Utopia does not and will not exist.
Republicans seem to have some warped concept that Democrats don’t own guns. Yes DEMOCRATS DO OWN GUNS, lots of guns. Every relative of mine had at least 10 to 15 guns at all times in their homes and they were used mainly for hunting game. Democrats aren’t so paranoid that they have to carry their arsenal on them or in their vehicles at all times like most Republicans do. Democrats are too sensible about their behavior with guns and Republicans find it offensive that aren’t hanging guns in their trucks, carry pieces under their vests .
American Might. Yeah, but if the bad guy didn’t have a gun, then there would have been no need for all of the good guys to have guns. And what would happen if one of good guys, for whatever reason becomes a bad guy? Guns were developed as efficient instrument to kill animals, mostly for killing the human animal, better than a sword or bow and arrow. It ain’t complicated, BUT getting rid of guns is complicated, except in some countries?? Are Australians different than Americans?
