democrats get elected despite gun control not because of it. Hillary clinton in 2016 lost florida, michigan, north carolina, pennsylvania, wisconsin and nearly minnesota because of it. President obama said in the 2012 debate when asked if he wanted to discuss control he said no and won a second term. literally thousands of good democrats have lost to bad republicans over gun control. This country and its people have been deeply harmed in other areas by the gun controllers. what about the phony polls the gun controllers say. the poll on election day is the one thats counts ask hillary clinton when she lost fla. mich. pa. wi. and nearly minn. as the gun nuts came out to vote in droves and 6 million democrats stayed home. 2018? gun nuts had nothing to fear as rethugs contoled all three branches of government. beto, biden and other democrats have said we are coming for your guns that will be run on republiscum ads in 2020. don’t forget in our system conservative states have easier time electing more candidates with less votes then democratic states as 2018 senate results showed even though senate democrats got millions of more votes.
captain arizona makes a good point. Democrats need to lie about their positions to get elected. Sometimes you can fool enough voters and sometimes you can’t. That’s why the schools have dropped American History, and torn down statues of the past. I think we would have been better off to let them stand as a reminder and it would force us to explain how it happened. Otherwise…..it will get repeated again.
