This is so insane. The first president in 65 years to make a deal with North Korea eliminating their nuclear arsenal and the left does nothing but criticize it. If Obama had made the exact same deal the left would be praising him as the greatest president ever. The right did the same thing with the Obama Iran deal. This kind of partisanship is extremely dangerous in the nuclear world we live in. Neither side cares about the good of the country or the world, only their party and ideology.
While acknowledging the step forward in better relations with North Korea, it’s important to point out that there is no actual “deal”. We have vague promises to work toward something.
Those who admire this “agreement” with North Korea have not remembered the records and film clips of Neville Chamberlain stepping off a pre-WWII airplane in Great Britain, waving a piece of paper (agreement) signed with with Herr Hitler, clearly saying “Peace in our time……”
Trump’s ability to spread his words, no matter how misguided, is terrifyingly magnificent and stupendously transparent as propaganda.
