Woo-hoo! The Culver’s restaurant at 40 S. Broadway Place, near Broadway Boulevard and Prudence Road is open.

I know this restaurant chain well from my youth in Wisconsin, and you’re in for a treat Tucson. Totally decadent. Totally greasy. Totally delicious.

The other location on Thornydale isn’t done yet, but looks to be about there.

  1. I agree with Adam. Not quite Steak & Shake quality but will beat the buns off In and Out any day of the week!

  2. steak & shake is by far the best followed by white castle, but if all we have is culver’s, i’ll have it any day over the overrated in-n-out.

  3. wow, my pop-up stopper went nuts when i clicked article link to this site. should have known, damn lib rag.

  4. They better serve fried cheese curds! One of the best sounds on earth is the squeak of a cheese curd being bitten into.

  5. They have cheese curds! They have the same menu as all Culver’s. Went last night and it was really busy, which I expected. It’s entertaining to go on opening week and see all the people that complain about how busy it is.

  6. Cheese curds are awesome 😀 Came by there today. They were really busy, but I got served very quickly. and the 15% military discount was awesome!

  7. Cheese curds certainly are awesome, but I have to make a correction to my earlier comment at risk of losing my honorary Wisconsinite status: Fresh cheese curds squeak when you bite into them. Fried ones are pure, melty heaven, but squeakless.
