This article appears in Mar 20-26, 2008.

the original theatrical version is the best
it has the cool harrison ford voice-over narration with the cool film-noir sam spade style.
“i left because i’d had a bellyful of killing. but i’d rather be a kiler than a victim”
the director’s cut/final cut takes out the voice-overs and has a stupid hint about deckard being a replicant.
i read “do androids dream of electric sheep?” and the story makes it clear he is a real live human.
Chicken,
“the original theatrical version is the best”
You are probably the only person who thinks that!
“it has the cool harrison ford voice-over narration with the cool film-noir sam spade style.”
And Ford’s voice-over sounds like he’s bored because both Ford and Ridley Scott HATED that the studio made them add it.
“i read “do androids dream of electric sheep?” and the story makes it clear he is a real live human.”
Philip K Dick once said, “They made an excellent movie, just not of my book.”
