What kind of money is going to fund this organization? Is it soft or hard money?
What’s the point in a political ad that disses both candidates?
Julian, What’s the point of living if you have no sense of humor?
I meant “catskinner” (horrible idea), What’s the point of living if you have no sense of humor?
Obviously, Julian DOES have a sense of humor. Sorry, Julian…
This is the best ad yet.
All we voters have to do is look at the trash ad by McCain and Kyl against Carmona. Both are traitors to Carmona
Finally! Something even more stupid than what we’ve been seeing and hearing on the air in this race. The positive ads have been excellent, I believe those have been produced by the campaigns.
The negative ads have been totally disgusting and deceptive, on both side. I also believe that most of those ads are being paid for by outside groups. I hear the RSCC and DSCC a lot but also other outside groups, too.
I’ve got to say, though, I’ve got a lot of respect for the VoteVets.org ad. That’s an honorable and respected organization. I don’t think of it as a “special interest” group with some kind of secret agenda, unless you think getting services for Vets – like education, health services, job training, etc, – somehow secretive, like what big oil, big Pharma or Big banks lobby for.
You know why there aren’t more cures for some diseases? If diseases were cured, Big Pharma would be out of business. There wouldn’t be a market for their super, overly-inflated priced drugs. they lobby Congress to drag their feet in funding research for the NIH and private grants.
VoteVets.org is up front about what they stand for. You bet that if they spend their money on a campaign ad to single out a candidate, they have a really good reason. As far as all the other outside money and negative hit ads and twisted “words taken out of context” – both sides have at least one – they are some of the worst i have ever seen.
It is time both parties decided we need a Constitutional amendment to overturn Citizen’s United and get this unlimited campaign cash flowing into all of these communities, and get them to stop spewing all of this hate and horrible rhetoric. Then, if it continues, we’ll know it’s the candidates themselves making the decision to go down that path and we can form our opinions based on their behavior
