They say it was an inadvertent border crossing, but that’s what Mexico would like you to believe. It’s time for drastic legislative measures, I say:

More than 30 soldiers in the Mexican Army crossed the border into Texas in Humvees on Tuesday before being processed and allowed to return to Mexico.

According to Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Rick Pauza, the accidental invasion occurred when 33 soldiers in four Humvees started crossing a bridge across the Rio Grande at Donna, Texas, and then realized they couldn’t turn their vehicles around without entering the U.S.

A local newspaper, the Monitor of McAllen, Texas, reported that the Mexicans were chasing a resident of South Texas when they drove onto the bridge.

Without addressing the reason for the crossing, Pauza confirmed to ABC News that the incident had occurred and called it “inadvertent.”

  1. I’m happy that AZ has FINALLY taken SOME steps against illegal aliens. I hope other states Our nation is collapsing under the weight of the illegals due to increased crime, illegal million-dollar ID mills, non-tax paying free loaders that undermine our schools, medical, water, utilities, etc. They bring disease and cockroaches (in their boxes~ true story). Come to America LEGALLY and learn ENGLISH as required! Billions have been spent to accomodate the illegals. Wake UP Americans. The encroachment of illegals has dire consequences no matter the enticement of cheap labor. I suspect that the “shadow government” and behind-the-scene rich elite has some deal with Mexico for drugs to come into our country much like what happened in “Air America” and Vietnam and the opium fields of Afghanistan (do the research!). (War and drugs make money for evil elite entities ~ hence the facade of the political “war on drugs”).

  2. Each time I read diatribe such as podog2121 and no more secrets I laugh my ass off. But, at the same it scares me that we have a growing number of dimwits in our society.

Frankly, I’m more afraid of these people’s way of thinking that I am of illegals.

You see, assinine views like this (I don’t even want to think about how they feel about anything else) are really screwing up our country.

I wish we they would pay a visit to the Wizard of Oz and ask for a brain. Sheesh people, get your headquarters out of your hindquarters.

Sorry kids, get a life and an education.

…..btw, Al Melvin is a total ASS.

  3. The real invasion was when the US illegally took so much land from Mexico by force. That was the real invasion…

  4. so give everyone a temporary work permit when they come to the border. it will say they must pay their fair share of taxes and corporations will be forced to pay them fair wages. it will fix the disparity in the work force and make those jobs americans supposedly ‘dont want’ viable again. eventually you’ll see fewer immigrants coming because those jobs will be filled up by american citizens willing to work under the legal guidelines of any work place. stop blaming the immigrants first, blame the corporations who are giving money to politicians either in the form of campaign donations or under the table to make them turn a blind eye to the fact that THEY are the real culprits of this problem.

  5. Aahhh……Ranger – you might want to research the Guadalupe Treaty….. The US PAID Mexico 15 million for the territories that ended the Mexican-American War (1846-48) PLUS the US took over 3.25 million in debts Mexico OWED American citizens. Then Arizona & New Mexico were ceded in 1853 under the Gadsden Purchase (sp) for $10,000.00. I don’t think we owe them – they might want to learn their own history before all the excuses and accusations. We PAID & we’re STILL PAYING!

  6. Actually Ireina773, that is a partial lie. The Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo was the result of the Mexican-American War. America gave Mexico an ultimatum: give up your land or we’ll give you war. Mexico refused, war happened, then Mexico admitted defeat. The Treaty was arranged in a way which they would get peace for a large amount of land from them.
After that, the Gadsden Purchase happened in 1853. They paid for another chunk of land, the northern strip of Mexico. So in short, the US took a large portion and bought a small portion. Don’t worry, many Americans like to believe they bought the land when they only bought some. The Gadsden Purchase was just “conscience money.” How about you further your research as well?
